Hey guys, first time posting on the bioware forums...just thought I'd put in my two cents. I've been going through the Miranda discussions for a while now (like most of you guys, she's my favourite character in ME)... and I'm pretty angry at how bioware is treating her character this time around. I still have hope that they will deliver in the end, but I'm getting more and more skeptical. In my opinion, Miranda is the key to the ENTIRE cerberus story arc and not having her at the TIM encounter just doesn't make any sense to me. She deserves alot more screen time than she is getting (according to the leaked scipt) and I think that cutting her out of some of these major plot points is a waste of a great opportunity to further develop her character. All we can do now though, I guess, is to hope that bioware did make some changes post-leak and gave Miranda some revisions. Anyways, all this has prety much been disccussed but just thought I'd vent for a bit. Keep it real.
Welcome, desispark. You've summed up things nicely. As I posted on the previous page, things can still go bad or well. It's even possible she'll stay on the team after a certain mission, though I wouldn't expect that.
Just a side note: I've noticed that the Miranda thread has more views and more replies than any other character in this forum......so who knows, maybe Bioware got the hint?
You clearly weren't here last year when the Tali thread ran at 10000 pages.
Also note how the Kaidan thread is almost as big as ours, and all polls put him at significantly less liked than Miranda. Dedication is at least as much a factor here as popularity, and these days most threads are carried by a dozen or so dedicated fans rather than a large group.
@feliciano2040:
Don't worry. Miranda will be more than a cameo.
