I'm sure everyone would like to raise the money, problem is I'm thinking there are a lot of Miri fans scattered around the world. So if ever we make a fundraiser event, that would be hard but to just send money to Bioware... hmm that can happen LOL.

Come on there's probably a 'son of Bill Gates or another billionaire' somewhere here in the forums who's a die hard Miri fan as well?? Help us out! LOL

now that would be a character call to fame forget i support miranda's ass

It is now

Bill Gate's son supports Miranda's ass lol

but I think bioware probably know there is a big fan base for miranda especially when you consider some characters that have been confirmed so far have been less popular than Miranda.

It would seem more unlikely if it wasn't the case tbh Posted Image

True, but, the size of that Tali fan thread that was around (is around? on the ME2 boards) was kinda intimidating.

Oh well, size isn't everything? Posted Image

This thread is full of win.

I'm actually waiting for more details on Miranda's involvement in this next installment. If she plays important role, is a party member for a good portion of the game and will be a LI with logical conslusion of the relationship... I will pre-order the collector's edition. Cmon Bioware, don't let me down

I've just finished testing the new design in:
  • IE 6
  • IE 7
  • IE 8
  • IE 9
  • Firefox 3.0
  • Firefox 3.6
  • Firefox 4.0
  • Safari 4
  • Safari 5
  • Chrome
The tree should now look fine in practically any browser so if you get any visual error such as the one described below:

strive wrote...
... the text in the top left is unreadable on a white background. ... I gotta highlight to see it.

Then please try force refreshing the page by pressing F5 or Ctrl+R or the refresh button. This should force the browser to get the latest stylesheet and use that instead of the old one cached previously.

My apologies for not mentioning this possible one time bug earlier. :)

If we continue to support the support of the support of the supportiveness of what has been said about Miranda thus far this thread will probably explode.

But HTW, i'll throw in my support too!

So, what do you want the romance to look like in ME3?

I am hoping for something epic, but hopefully not tragic.

What I mean is, I hope that once you have gotten off Earth and start rallying support for a counter attack against the Reapers Miri sends word that she has found a way of knocking Cerberus out of the conclict and you have to go help her accomplish this task, or she desperately needs your help to save Orianna from TIM or something like that.

You help her do whatever she needs done, then she is by your side until the bitter end.  What I don't want is for Shepard to have to choose between saving Miranda's life and some terrible consequence like the death of a world or entire species.  That would make the decision (at least for Shepard I know who I am going to save) very difficult to make.

No no no
No offense but Oriana has been saved enough I think.
Besides the game takes place 6-12 months after ME2 I'm sure during that time Miranda was doing everything possible to ensure her safety.

On romance:
Something tastefully done and mature, not a one night stand type of deal...
That dry humping part at the end of the romance scene was a no no (IMO: I suppose others liked that)
Make it so that their actions speak that they care about each other and not make it look like a one night stand and/or just about lust.

Gift: Perhaps we can give something to Miranda during the romance lane. Uncanny came up with this.  I'm not sure what she would want though...

Let me know what you think!

Okay, anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a diehard Miri fan. I'm sure we've all heard Casey Hudson and the rest of the BioWare team asure people over and over again that their favorite characters are in the game. I just hope that the voice actors' availability isn't an issue. If it is, Yvonne is one of the more likely people to have a conflict. We must consider this.

Sorry for going off topic.

Oh, this one has been missing.

She HAS to be permanent squadmate, beautiful, powerful and sexy as ever or I'll be enraged. I mean, come on! She's an LI and one of the most popular characters!

Anyway, my theory of her in ME3 based on that tweet from Casey ("I hope she's well") is that she will be on a run from Cerberus, maybe taking care of herself and Oriana specially if she's loyal to Shepard as now they seem to be enemies.

Equal. Shepard does all the "pep talks". Shepard helps fix her problems. It felt very one sided and  that she was putting him on a pedestal at times.

I was interested in her character by how strong her personality was. She was strong and independent and that goes to hell after her Loyalty Mission. She treats Shepard like a King and she is some peasant girl. (okay that my be hyperbole sorry) I want her to show more of her strong traits and have her to "rally" Shepard's morale every once in a while. Instead of Shepard always being her emotional crutch.

Miri had damn well be a recruitable permanent in ME3, otherwise I'm going rally an army of pissed off Mirimancers and raze the BW head office to the ground French Revolution style. And I'm gonna dig up my father's old L1A1.

It's been a long time since I posted in a Miranda thread (or anywhere actually). Its good to see familiar faces and new people too.

The Mass Effect 3 news has got me motivated and my optimism has me preparing the dialogue tree to accept ME3 dialogue.

I pushed a visual update to the tree last night. It should be easier to navigate now. I'm doing the cross browser testing right now at work so I'll be fixing the minor bugs in IE6/7, Safari and Chrome soon. If theres any bugs (either in the tree or the dialogue) then contact me somehow.

I'll be adding more dialogue to the tree soon-ish. I haven't played any DLC since Kasumi came out (and I'm mostly spoiler free too) so I'll be adding entries for DLC if need be. I'm currently running through both ME games so I'll be checking the tree as I go.

Miranda - Dialogue Tree - now with possible browser breaking visual updateyness.

Edit: Oh and thanks to AhmedGhanem1991, whose twitter update sent me here.

Gutty ! Glad you're back :)

Yesterday, I had to use your dialog tree, and I noticed the change :P

btw, I noticed something about Conversation 4 : the begining of the conversation is different if you chose the paragon path during Conversation 3. Here is a video of the conversation, if you want to make an update :

I'm all for this, unsurprisingly. What I'd like in the romance? A couple of scenes akin to the post lockdown one in ME 1, where Shepard can be less guarded or show emotions more freely. Something similar to the discussion Shepard and Liara had post Shadow Broker wouldn't be bad either.

I think it's what Bioware plans to do in ME3.

Most beautiful woman ever put in a game-- thanks in large part to Yvonne Strahovski. Been somewhat infatuated with her character since before ME2's launch (again, due to Ms. Strahovski ).

If she doesn't have a satisfying role in this, I'll be largely disappointed. Much of my hype for this game is based around seeing where they take the characters; Miranda being my favorite from ME2, and Yvonne being one of my favorite actresses, I can't wait to see how this goes.
