I won't insult this thread by the travesty which is the other one.

"And you can finally get your upgrade. Goodbye pain. And all you had to do was blackmail me. I guess that's considered a bargain in your line of work."
She looked at me. That curious passion was back, and this time there was no exhaustion to mar it. Her eyes shone. Her skin shone. Even her teeth seemed to shine. She was a veritable angel of light. She was beautiful. There was none of the marble statue about her now. Enthusiasm gave her vitality.” You think this is about me? No, Mr. Shepherd. This is about humanity. You may have very well proven that it's possible to have biotics without the pain. Imagine that! All of us able to use our power without being crippled in the process. A better life for hundreds of thousands of people. In a hundred years, the L2 implant will seem as crude as the iron lung seems to us.”
She moved closer to me, close enough that I could see the blue and grey mingling in her eyes. “Your biotic strength is extraordinary, but it doesn't need to stay extraordinary. Half of all element zero exposures have no effect. Twenty percent result in fatal cancers. Twenty percent produce usable biotics. Of that twenty percent, only the tiniest fraction have readings even remotely approaching yours. If we can find out what makes you different, then we can replicate it. You’re terrified of being found out because of the suffering biotics have endured. But what is that suffering was unnecessary? People would be lining up to have their children exposed. Humanity would no longer fear biotics. That is what this is about."
I listened, enthralled. Miranda's voice was low and insistent, caressing me. It was seductive in its own way. Because, for that moment, I saw what she saw. A world without Claire Eldfells or babies that died for no good reason. A world where I didn't have to hide what I was because I didn't want to join the military. And she made me believe that ridiculous fantasy. I’d thought of her as a goddess before, the sort that struck mere mortals down for not meeting her standards. But perhaps that wasn't quite the metaphor. Helen of Troy crossed with Guinevere crossed with Joan of Arc. The sort of women men had once conquered kingdoms for. I didn't want to have sex with her. I wanted to fight for her, create the new order she seemed so convinced was possible.
And then, just like that, she was normal again. Worse than normal. Cold and forbidding. "So I'm not being selfish. You'll live. When this is over, you'll get to go back to your normal life. Paint. Get married. Whatever." Her voice cracked like glass. "You'll get to be normal. That’s more than you can say for your precious Claire Eldfell.”

That's because her Phoenix armor is missing. She needs it, to make a pink combo.Besides, that blonde hair looks a little ugly to be honest.
I don't know what poor bastard though it was a good idea, to dye her hair in color of the lost bubblegum

I liked it. Especially nice touch with the glass simile.

A shiver ran down my spine when I read that. One of the best representations of Miranda's passion for her cause so far. Works perfectly!! Perhaps, though, the sex wouldn't be totally out of Matt's mind. He appears the type to get attracted by this Miranda.
But you really need to correct the spelling of Shepard's name. It ruins the whole effect by making me ROFL as I imagine Miranda talking to a dog.
Edit:
One question: will you write about how they meet again at the Cerberus space station? Should be interesting.
Edit2:
One more question: does Matt know that Miranda is Claire at this time?

And no, he has no clue. I'm saving that for the finale when, well, you'll see.

Perhaps it's because we all agree that yes, she's beautiful and attractive, and yes, it's very good that she is and we wouldn't want her any other way, but it's not what makes her special. Physically attractive women are a dime a dozen in popular entertainment after all. No point in talking about it.jtav wrote...
Has anyone every noticed how little we talk about her looks, considering how non-fans seem to think it's her main attraction.
Tbh, I have absolutely no idea how anyone can see those ass shots as a point of attraction. I find the idea rather insulting that I could be "reeled in", so to speak, by a single physical feature detached from the person it belongs to. If I wanted to showcase Miranda's sexiness, I'd use the elevator scene. But then, the romance is already under way there...

The saying goes "don't judge a book by it's cover." In Miranda's case it simultaneously applies and is averted which is a testament to her complexity as character.

It's the whole package for me. Her personality traits are essential, but that she also looks attractive makes the difference between "hugely interesting" and "absolutely irresistible". Also the whole genetic engineering angle would be far less interesting if she didn't look at least somewhat attractive. Smarts at the expense of looks is such a tired old trope.jtav wrote...
Well, for me, it depends on the screenshot. She's stunning when she isn't in the uncanny valley. It's the passion that grabs me, though. Give me that, and all else follows.

Why should we? She's bangin. We know it. The writers acknowledged it. Stating the obvious would be redundant.

QFT, and unfortunately I fear (like quite a few others, I'm sure) that thats what will become especially apparent in ME3. I'm obviously not just talking about Miranda's looks here, but her character as a complete package - has been, well demoted from the running in the grand scheme of things in the finale.
As upsetting as that sounds; if her LoTSB>"cameo" appearance(s) are drop-dead-awesome than I'll be a happy man.
