She does look rather good. Would that be Miranda's guilty pleasure? All right, rather not. But she still looks good.

BTW, you hit her face surprisingly well.

@CritchCricket:
And you provided the perfect caption.

I'm asking for fanfiction purposes, and the person involved has a $50 limit. Given his financial situation, any more is inappropriate.

Matt? If so, couldn't he paint something for her?

That's what I was thinking, too.

I would paint her something, spend 200 billion credits of gifts for her. That may be too much lol, she may think of me as crazy. >_>

Seriously though, I would arrange a Holiday get- together for her and Oriana, so that they can enjoy the holidays together.

Matt's an artist? He wouldn't buy her a gift. He'd make her one.

Well, I wanted her to agree to sit for him finally, so I didn't want to use the obvious. He's going to have pretty good relationship with Oriana's family, much to Miranda's terror, so maybe I could use that.

SO ! Big question for the Miri fans:

What do you good folk think about Miranda's opinion of Jack ?

I think this is the only issue where my Shepard would probably have some serious pillow talks with her about the way she has treated Jack.

I can understand her devotion and her dedication to Cerberus, I'm not surprised if she chooses to defend them, but I've always thought she's gone a bit too far with her, and most of the attitude seems to be out of pure dislike, which is very interesting, because at it's core I think Miranda simply detests Jack's nihilism, she is a woman of purpose, of duty, and she can't stand the idea of someone that has no purpose, no goal, and who doesn't care about her motivations.

What do you good people think ?

I think you're spot on as to why she dislikes her. I put Miranda more at fault, but because I expect more of her. She has a capacity to control herself Jack lacks. "Clearly you were a mistake" crossed a line, and I'd castigate her for it in private if possible.

What do you think is Miranda's favorite holiday? Do you think she celebrates any?

I ask this because I think she might feel uncomfortable around "family" type holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas.   Maybe that is what "normal" people do?  Relating to how she feels about herself.  Just a thought.

There was an interesting Cerberus Daily News "article" about Illium having a fashion show. And since Miranda seems into fashion maybe that'd interest her to see.

Please forgive me Miss Jtav, I thought you were going to be the first to kindly exile me from the thread  !

But I thought it was a very, very interesting dynamic those two had, sad thing we most likely won't see it back for ME 3, still, it made me think that, even if Miranda thought that Cerberus itself was at fault for what happened to Jack, she would never say it in front of her because of the bottom-low opinion she has of her.

Ive managed to avoid all spoilers of Miranda so far but its proving difficult!
now chucks done hopefully yvonne can get her butt to the recording studio. do you guys think they will fix her hair? like Ashleys? or do you think it will be stuck to her shoulders (which i akways thought looked odd when she turned her head!)
Wow this thread is nearly at 1000 pages!

I think there's a good but of pride in there as well. Miranda does not apologize easily, and Jack attacked the core of her self-identity, so conceding a point was never going to happened. They're two sides of the same coin: both abused and treated as tools. They responded very differently. Jack lashed out while Miranda embraced her tool status. Both are horribly scarred, but Miranda is functional. I can romance her because of that, but I also come down harder.

Bra-vo ! Great analysis of both characters.

Though I must content the "functional" part to some extent. Obviously Miranda is deffinitely the most well-adjusted individual, but maybe Jack is the way one should normally react to such abusive circumstances, then again it's very different to have an abusive father than being test subject for twisted experiments.

Perhaps I misspoke. Miranda is more able to function in society. Jack has also been a purely destructive force: crime and long stretches in prison (not just because if Cerberus either) vs.saving the Citadel/galaxy.
