He can always say "She'll be in the game" and that can answer all of our questions. It has worked until now...

Yes, he could very well do that. Oh well.

Could ask if we'll get a memorable love scene.

Sure, maybe, but I think it's a question that could get a better answer than that, potentially. Might as well ask.

In passing, the early reaction to the Jacob stuff may have been overblown, due to various possible versions being jumbled together in the leaked script.

Can the fanfic writer ask a question? Do you guys think I can get away with a happy ending for Portrait?

For Walters: how many endings are there?

I'd love to see you give them a happy ending, Jtav. I love happy endings more than unhappy ones. More satisfying for me at least.

It depends on what your happy ending would entail, but I can't see any reason why not? I think Miranda should cure her pain issues and Matt and Miranda should part on reasonably friendly terms. Did you have more in mind? The "final" happy ending is told in Shadow Wars, so I don't know if anything more would be appropriate at this point, especially since there are the events of ME2 to consider.

Poor Jacob... I could never romance him.  He creeps me out well, femshep did, all hot and bothered as she was.

OH I just thought of something!!!!

Here's a question!
Will we ever know the extent of Miranda and Jacob's prior relationship? All business or pleasure? Were they ever a couple?  Who broke it off? :D

#2 will we ever find out about the dating chat logs in the broker files!  The real purpose behind it.  Ms. Lawbringer   I could see Shepard tease her about it IF he read them.

I like Jacob. He's the best of the male romance options in ME2. Thane may be well-written, but he's absolutely not my type, even if I ignore that he's not human. Garrus? Don't get me started.

As for Miranda and Jacob, I'd like that to stay as vague as it is. That way everyone can make up their own version of what happened.

Hmmm, I think I might ask Walters how many Miranda scenes he wrote for ME3. He seems to feel he can talk about that, and the answer could actually be fairly informative.

Here again the scene that shows Miranda and Shepard working together best:

That's my favorite scene as well. ::kissing: They also work together on Miranda's loyalty mission if you snap the merc leaders head. They give off a slight communication nod.

I don't know, as much as I agree with you on this point, I can't help but think that bioware may try to pull a paragon/ renegade option on us.  Up till now, the final path choice has always been one where the renegade increases the dominance  of the human race in the galaxy, and the paragon leds towards mutual cooperation between everyone.  Somehow I can just see this being tied into the Shepard living or dieing in the end.  For example, Shepard can sacrifice him/her self to save at least a portion of the fleets that he/she has assembled to fight the Reapers.  This would be the paragon choice, the renegad choice would be for Shepard survive and thus result in massive losses to the other races of the galaxy.  This would allow humaninty to, if not come out the strongest at the end of the war, at lest allow them to recover the quickest and thus be dominant over the others.

I highly doubt Bioware would do this, but it's still a niggling feeling at the back of the skull.

Am I the only one that feels this is really retarded? Not your ideas, but BioWare pulling somrhing like this.

No you are not.   Not only would it leave many feeling cheated, it could also be seen as a real cheap way to end the story of Shepard in the ME universe.

I guess I'm on the minority, but an ending like that, if done well, could be beyond amazing.

I'm not going to put it past the ME team to make the ultimate Paragon ending Shepard sacrificing himself for the greater good. Just like I'm sure that the Renegade ending will most likely be the "bad ending". Bioware breaks out the self-sacrifice ending in most of its games, and Jade Empire is the only one that they made where sacrificing the PC doesn't result in a "good" ending.

I have exactly one Shep I care about. I will wreak any amount of havoc as long as he can be happy with Miranda. The rest of the galaxy can burn for all I care. I can always save a different one in some other game. I don't care about fictional faceless billions.

It's just the one. Matt feels like my kid. But saving the galaxy/world/universe is a poor motivator because I the player can do the exact same thing in the next gane over. But the cast I've come to love? I'll fight for them.
