Alright... now let's cross fingers. She
hasn't posted anything since Dec 9, but she might pop up to tweet
season's greetings.

I threatened to cry a lot if she doesn't come back.

Emotional blackmail. Good, good.

What's the height difference between Miranda and MShep? Because I was posing the models as close as I could, and MShep comes up to her shoulder/neck, and I normally remember him as being taller.

Keeping in mind that she is wearing high heels, I'd say Miranda is sligthly smaller than MShep.

Height is a variable function, it can change to suit the needs of a scene. The UT3 engine doesn't use any units of measurement so if a model looks like it's the right scale it is the right scale. For instance the model for the Collector Cruiser on Horizon isn't actually that big, everything else is just really small.

From the third issue of "Invasion". I
wonder just how much Oleg Petrovsky's reasoning resembles Miranda's own
at the Collector Cruiser and Base.

I really like Petrovsky, he's competent and like Miranda he seems to believe in Cerberus' cause without being a xenophobe. Hopefully he makes an appearance in ME3.

Could be, though so far I'm not seeing too much evidence of the CB decision being all that important. The LM decision maybe.

I like him too but let's face it, he's dead meat. We can't have gray characters with Cerberus in ME3.

That's gotta be one tough mofo if he is facing an ex-commando with a frikkin knife !

It's probrably a symbolic representation of the conflict between Cerberus and the Mercenaries for Omega, with Petrovsky representing Cerberus, Aria representing the mercs and Afterlife representing Omega.

I mean, Aria already beat him handily once while he had a gun and Cerberus commandos as backup. I can't see a second fight as it is shown in this cover going well for him.

My Miri Drawing:

The Final and Complete Draft of my Miri Drawing.

Before you ask, know this: You probably notice that the Cerberus Symbol is missing. Well when I remembered the symbol, I decided NOT to add it as an expression of Symbolism. In other words, it symbolizes Miri's resignation from Cerberus in my ME2 playthroughs and my ME3 experience.

Perhaps he'll go rogue. I'm just happy to finally have a Cerberus agent other than the the Normady crew who isn't a crazed mass-murderer, or a mad scientist.

@MisterJB

Where did you get your avatar?

Found it on google. Apparently, it's part of a series of Cerberus political pamphlets. Here's the original image.

I'm hoping he survives, although I agree that it's probably not going to happen. Still, from what it sounds like, Oleg spared Aria when he didn't have to, and so maybe Aria will return the favor. Maybe...>.>

And no one said anything about it. Why? Not good enough for "your standards?" I worked hard on this drawing for several days. I deserve some credit.

Look I don't care if there are "inaccuracies." I drew how I wanted
to draw the pic. and not what you all wanted. Understand?

I didn't draw for your "approval" of accuracy. I drew the picture because I wanted to draw the picture.

Okay, typing it up now.

Cool, thanks Image IPB

I do think other posters have tried a time or two, but of course that was back when Chuck was wrapping up.

Dude, humbleness is a virtue. Waving your art around and complaining how nobody said anything isn't going to win over hearts and minds.

I actually sent her a tweet asking if she was returning for her role in Mass Effect 3 on Dec 9th. No reply :(

MEFan, calm down...nobody said your art wasn't good. I wish I could draw.

I have come to the conclusion, that even though the Miranda thread is the one with the most pages (although i'm not sure with most posters), the Miranda fanbase is very light... meaning in terms of reaction. Otherwise i can not understand Bioware's reaction up till this point concerning any "news" or confirmations for Miranda (and by reaction i mean the lack thereof).

If a company like Bioware was afraid that it might have upset a large portion of their fanbase, there would have been some sort of attempt at a form of damage control. And up till now i've seen none whatsoever. So they either they do not believe that we are upset (about anything) or they do not consider us a large portion of their fanbase.

For example if they had received some cancellations in pre orders, or messages that no order was to be made until Miranda's presence (and by presence i mean a comment on her presence and confirmation of VA) was clarified, there was no way that someone from Bioware wouldn't have made a "damage control" comment. Apparently that (for whatever reason) is not needed.

And as i was discussing with another (also Miranda fan) about the lack of info on Strahovski's recording or not, i came to the conclusion that either she recorded but her role is so small that it would feel ridiculous for them to mention it, or (more probably) she did not record and they don't want to mention the fact that they used a different VA, out of fear of the negative response. So they postpone it until they can hide it no longer (which of course is after the release of the game).

http://social.bioware.com/group/5254/

Going by the group's population, I'd say there are a decent amount of Miranda supporters (For a game website anyways), and it's still growing. That number would grow exponentially if it had EVERYONE who liked Miranda, on site and off.

Edit: It seems the group I linked is also one of the largest character support groups regarding ME.
