As for the height difference: Shepard is slightly taller, though the difference can be made to appear small (first screenshot) or big (second screenshot):

The height fluctuations are very strange.

Humorous, but strange.

The news towards Miranda/Yvonne has been light....OK non existent. What I'm hoping is that now that SWTOR is finally out, Bioware will shift over to heavily marketing Mass Effect 3. Hopefully we will get alot more information in the near future. Fingers crossed! As for the number of Miranda fans, well clearly there's a good chunk of the fan base dedicated to her. Not sure if we have the highest number, but we sure do have some of the most loyal/hardcore fans here :D. I personally check the Miranda threads several times a day (even though I don't always post) hoping to get any tidbit of information regarding Miranda in ME3. So Bioware...if you're listening...give us loyal Miranda fans a glimmer of hope! I think we deserve it :P

The way I see it, Miranda has the most vocal fan base, if not the largest.

Not saying it's small though, it's enormous.

Well, I'm sure we'll be getting a lot more ME3 news in the two months prior to release. There will quite possibly be something Miranda/Yvonne-related in there somewhere, at least hopefully the VA list as confirmation that Strahovski is participating.

But whatever. Marketting has a schedule.

I'd certainly love a screenshot or some concept art sometime in the new year, though Image IPB

I was about to post this.

Another thing people need to realize is that BioWare just released SWTOR (Star Wars MMO), so ow they'll have the time and resources  to devote most, if not, all of their time towards ME3.

Point being: It's still a tad soon for major publicity on ME3, and they just finished handling SWTOR, so now things will speed up.

Not sure how much overlap there is in terms of staff, but anyway yeah, the way things are set up, the hype engine for ME3 should kick in a few weeks from now.

I could certainly use some good news about Miranda. I have a theory that Strahovski is also doing Oriana or another sister and that's why they're being so quiet. Might be grasping at straws though.

The Old Republic was made by a different studio in Austin. ME3 is in Edmonton. I doubt marketing resources are an explanation. I would say they wouldn't want their games competing with each other for the spotlight but to be honest TOR wasn't that exposed either. It had what 3 trailers, all of which are the starting ingame cutscenes.
Bioware just plays things close to the chest I guess. Except when some douche at Microsoft leaks their ****.

I don't know if she can voice a younger character. And a third sister could be a good idea (like in Elyvern's ffic).

So awesome. This would be.

As well as the third sister theory, it would be even better if she was even older than Miranda, like around mid-fifties perhaps ! Even though that would be kinda screwy with the time-line !

I'd be very surprised if another sister put in an appearance. I think it's very likely there is one, or more than one, but which role would she play in the story? The timeline wouldn't be a problem, as long as she isn't to be a biotic. I think Mr. Lawson's research goes back several decades before Miranda's birth.

I'd rather they focus on Miranda (and Oriana) and not throw in another sister. Time is of the essence.

It's pretty hilarious, really, that so many human beings in the ME universe would have memories of what life was like prior to being able to leave the solar system. I feel like this is something we don't hear enough about, given what a big deal it would be.

Indeed, even though it's understandable we don't hear much about it, if real life was as Mass Effect, I don't think we would, the times we live in are completely human-centric, when the time comes and meet other intelligent, sentient life, EVERYTHING will change.

Also, in regards to Yvonne, if she hasn't recorded yet, she's running out of time. She's supposedly heading to Australia soon to shoot her new movie.

If she's doing the role, it's already over with, meaning she would have done the recording this fall, while Chuck was wrapping up. I think they can do some recording out of the studio, if they have to, so that may be how they handled Yvonne's stuff, theoretically.

Jesus christ, do we have to hound this woman to even know if she is or isn't in the goddamn game ?

Bioware, I'm getting pissed, if she isn't doing the voice acting, come out and say it already.

She wouldn't have to be out of the studio; one of the Bioware recording studios is in LA. Guess where they film Chuck?

The timeline is insanely compressed anyway. 35 years from system-bound species to galactic power, all the while 99% of the human population are still living on Earth - ridiculous. They should've added a zero.

I agree, from the sound of it humanity went from having technology slightly more advanced from what we have in the 21st century to being a galactic civilization in about thirty years.

I can sort of see why people would support groups like Cerberus. In three decades we've gone from being able to push the boundaries of science and technology to better ourselves to having what we can and cannot do dictated to us by the Council.

Your Shepard looks almost exactly like my first Shep, who romanced Miri too.
Mine didn´t have a beard though.
