Thats a good thing, a very good thing. I miss Jack's shaved head... Miranda looked good throughout ME2, no need to redesign her. She just needs a new outfit or uniform for her mission.

Not really, it pretty much reflects how much overall attention a character was given. Jack was redesigned because her looks went passed people's heads. But all this really tells me is that the dirty dozen from ME2 excluding Garrus and Tali were a waste.

The only ME2 squad made shown in the ME3 section is Jack (and Garrus).

Well, the excuse they gave for Jack was that she had "matured and softened," so she needed a redesign to reflect that. I figured Miri's cold and calculating demeanor was accepted by the masses so they didn't need to change her look. Also, its no secret ME2 crew got shafted, redesign or no redesign.

Ok just to be clear...are we assuming she is not getting a re-design because she isn't featured in an art-book which is being released before the game? Are there any other ME2 characters showed in this book with or without redesigns? Could this just be Bioware not showing new redesigns of ME3 characters to not ruin the surprise in the actual game?

All we've seen from the art book is in the Collector's Edition video. But there's also no need to assume she'll get a redesing since there's been no mention of it. there have been 4 offical redesigns, Jack, Kaidan, Ashley and Femshep, and we've seen them all and they've all been officially announced.

LOL, don't listen to this guy.

Miranda WILL get some kind of redesign. Just because the devs haven't said that she will, doesn't mean she won't. Same for every other character in the game. This is the big finale. I doubt Bioware will skip on their last chance to throw together some excellent NPC outfits for the new game, especially with a new engine (sorta), textures, lighting, and dialogue.

Right, basically our knowledge of this will make everything seem like a confirmation of this Image IPB

Don't think this is very meaningfull, tbh, in and of itself. At most it suggests Jack received a more radical redesign than the other ME2 characters, probably for the reason android654 suggested.

He asked if it was confirmed, I told him the ones that were. Got pics of a redesigned Miranda?

We saw Mordin, Wrex, Legion, and they all look exactly the same as before, and they're all possible deaths. I think this might well be the same for the rest.

So far I'm not seeing any correlation, though. Jack is in pretty much exactly the same type of situation in the leaked script as Wrex, Mordin, Miranda and others. So... redesigns probably happened where it was deemed necessary. Mordin, Wrex and Legion would be among those characters least likely to be redesigned, as there is no reason for them to look any different.

Good point, but I'm not seeing any reason to redesign Miranda. Then again I'm not seeing any reason to redesign any of them to be honest.

Hell, I don't know about you guys but I was hoping for a redesign. A new, more practical catsuit (no heels please) and a commando light armor set for the field.

She needs a new outfit with no logo. Civilian clothing. And I'd bet money she'll get it.

Maybe a luscious ponytail would be good for Miranda.

The break with Cerberus and the different art style of the game suggest to me that there will be a redesign, but it could be fairly subtle compared to Jack's.

No, but I can see the running patterns of redesign amongst the main cast-- including non-squadmates like Anderson.

Oh, and to address Wrex and Legion's appearances-- Yes, they are the same. But these were extremely early looks we got to see. Like Bioware said, the leaks are not representative of the final product at all.

I'm sure she'll get those, but a redesign is something like what Ashley got.

That's a redesign. LOL at the fact that they couldn't tell that it was even her.

Yes, they could be placeholders. We've seen Tali in videos, where she looked the same, but we know she has been redesigned, though apparently it's subtle, because they don't think fans really want a different look.

The only change I'm expecting for Miranda is a new outfit tbh. She will pretty much look the same (I mean, how can they make her look better) but the main outfit was a Cerberus uniform. If she's civilian or alliance the clothes will have to be completely different. Besides that, maybe a new hairstyle (although I dont think she needs it).

Oh well, let's hope BW will come out of douchebag mode come next month and actually show us something about Miranda.

If Ash is your idea of a redesign, I don't want one. Just drop the logo, change the boots, and give her an outfit that looks less painted on.

That's what I consider a redesign, redesign the concept art for a character. That's what Jack and Ashley got. I don't think they'd go further than new attire.

Well, I think new attire is most likely, yeah, but that's a pretty big part of any redesign. It depends a bit on how they play it, I guess, how much Miranda has distanced herself from Cerberus, where her story ends up going, etc. In the leaked script, I'm not sure this had even been decided yet.

Really? She doesn't do Yvonne Strahovski justice, truly.

She looks good at times, but at the very least they need to do something about her hair. It's a ridiculous looking style.

She was paler than I think they intended her to be, most of the time, as well. Aside from that, who knows what else they might do?

I agree with the idea of having her wear civillian attire when off the battlefield. For missions however, I'm picturing a lighter variant of the Cerberus Centurion armor, preferably with her hair tied back.

Well, I gather they are using improved tech for hair in general, and better emoting in cut scenes, etc., so I'm sure that will apply to Miranda.

If they're gonna redesign anyone, they had better redesign their graphics engine. The backdated graphics engine in ME2 caused Miri's one 'MJ moment' which every butthurt queen like Someone With Mass is using to try and troll us now. Seriously speaking, Yvonne Strahovski is so much prettier than Miranda, but that's only because of the backdated graphics engine and the lazy 3d modellers.

Meh... I think it was a lighting issue which is supposed to be fixed this time around.
