If Miranda's gonna get a redesign in ME3, what do you think they'll redesign?

If I had to guess? Just her clothes, maybe her hair, but that might be due to a tech upgrade rather than an all around redesign. I can't see much reason to wear a Cerberus pvc suit when she resigned.

I completely agree with you. ;)

I don't understand why Bioware doesn't give information about the ME2's characters.

We're trying to keep as much of the game's story details as unspoiled as possible.

By spoiling our inner zen states due to lack of news. <_<

Believe me, I want story news too, but I'm purposefully staying away from any NPC discussions at work because it's definitely better to experience in-game. To keep myself occupied, I'm thinking about making Miranda's DLC armor

Well, here it is, my first fan fic ever.  As a former engineer I'm used to writing technical papers a-plenty, not so good with actual story-telling.  I originally wanted to get into the first adventure/mission/expedition I had in mind, but this first chapter filled up surprisingly fast with backstory.
As I said it's relatively easy to thread a story connecting Arrival and ME3 if you blow the collector base (as that great story "On the Run" does so well), but it's pretty challenging to try and work in keeping relations with Cerberus yet have that slowly cool off to where we know they'll be at the start of ME3.  And Miranda too, she doesn't quit if you keep the base.  So here's my best attempt the start of a couple of stories during that gap time.  Again this part is mostly back story, the next chapter (if there is one, meaning if you all want one) will have them actually doing stuff.

Definitely worth investigating. I approve...as long as the armor doesn't come with Steel-Reinforced High Heels. That's gotta hurt...

Well that's something of a good sign, no one in their right mind would pay 5 bucks for three sets of armor if they'll be used for fifteen minutes each. So that a glimmer of something I suppose.

I should clarify that I meant her armor from ME2 Alternate Appearance Pack #2. I have zero knowledge about Miranda's role in ME3. I'd do her armor because no one else has yet and I think it's a great look (although, in my ME2 Miranda resigned, so I suppose I'd make it without the Cerberus logos on it).

Either that or Ashley's confirmed armor for ME3 (we saw a screenshot the other week).

Sorry for any confusion or false hope that caused :(

Perhaps you could post some pics of the completed armor if you end up doing it Image IPB

Because they know it's only going to ****** their respective fanbases off. So they focus on the "positive" and try to forget ME2 ever happened.

I do not feel this is fair.:crying:

Maybe if people made more Rule 34 pictures with Jack, Mirandas and Mordin, this would be less of an issue.

You'd be surprised... At least, concerning Miranda and Jack.

Don't judge me.

Thank you for the clarification. The fact that we leaped at such a vague mention shows just how desperate we are.

Jessica, you're such a tease.

I for one would love to see Miranda in a few new hairstyles in ME3.

As DLC? No.

As something in-game by default, even customizable? Yes.

I like her hairstyle. The quality of its graphics can be improved (and we expect it has). Still more options are always good. I hope they'd be unique though and not just general NPC hair styles.

@ Jessica Merizan,
In my humble and biased opinion, I would suggest doing the AAP 2 for Miranda for many of the reasons you stated above. Also, because of the attention it would get, maybe some the writers would see it and think "hmm that does look good indeed, maybe we should write in more Miranda in ME3, obviously in a way that made sense to the story and wouldn't feel like she was shoved in as many moments as possible." Unless of course she already gets a large amount fo screen time then they'd see that as a reconfirmation of their decision. It could happen.

Also you never really do see people try the AAP2 armor, it usually is the white or black suits.

Seconded .
From the few screenshots we saw from Ash', Miranda's hair graphics must have been improved, animated as well . Unless *sarcastic mode engaged* non-squad characters don't get that kind of treatment, nonetheless, I'm pretty sure they do  :D
The possibility of changing hairdo could be interesting and fun, even though just like you, I really like Miranda's hairstyle as it is in ME2 .
