The 2nd is more true to form, but I'm not fond of the 50's hairstyle she's using there. She looks more like what you'd expect her mother to look like.

This one is harder to like for me because of the non-neutral drawing style. If it was drawn with more of an eye for realism and anatomy like the ones on the last page, I'd be more easily able to compare it. In short, it's fine art, but it doesn't really work as concept art.

I see what you mean. Also, I think one could make the case that the uniform design is a bit... busy overall. But still pretty sweet imo.

I prefer this one over the other two mostly because it looks like it can offer more protection compared to the first one 'who would know' shared. The second one looked like it was painted on.

These aren't new shots of Miranda, but I hope you guys will enjoy them either way. And the lighting's better this time; none were taken inside the Kodiak! (Unlike last time.) Took these with my Shepard, Neil. (Yes, I play Sheploo.)
You have very good photos

Don't be new images but it's so good. I'm hope in that soon we will have a new image.

It's becoming clear a big reason why I wanted to start writing this was to explore some of the ME universe technology, I really get a kick out of it. Future chapters will have firefights and stuff, but this first challenge is more technical. And I want Shepard and Miranda to be all into each other.
Thanks for those on this forum who offered their support, gave me the boost I needed to do this second chapter.

If BW hadn't decided on a permanent look for her, this is a good one. Even better if they changed the color scheme a bit and gave her some sort of position within The Alliance.

Thanks for posting it. As somebody who has never written fanfic and really doesn't read much of it, I think it's worth pointing out that I think one reason people don't comment is that they are not really sure what to say.
Constructively commenting on these things is almost like a separate skill in and of itself

Damn. This is a good look. It fits the right niche between sexy and stylish, without sacrificing taste.
My god, that sounded horrendously fruity.

I don't write fanfiction and I don't read much either, flemm. I do get tempted sometimes, either with Star Trek, or with Mass Effect, or with one of a half a dozen other franchises. Mostly I just keep to my own universes though. No one's toes to step on.

Constructively commenting on things in general seems to be a seperate skill in of itself, given the general human nature of wanting to **** and moan about everything...
But anyways, jtav, coming from someone who absolutely despises fanfic's and the people who write them (No offense, bad experiences in the past), yours are good to read.

Amazing how better lighting can make the difference between "GAHH LOOK AWAY" and "D'aww:wub:"

Well, that's true, but, there's another side to it, that I envy sometimes when talking with people who do write fanfic, because it's almost as if they've taken a given world and its characters, and appropriated them, to the point where what the professional creators do almost becomes irrelevant.
Which can sometimes be a nice mindset to have

That's why I wrote Shadow War. Whatever happens, there's a universe where Miranda's happily married and running humanity's STG. Robert Eldfell is also less easily pigeonholed as a villain than Mr. Lawson. And my version isn't less real than ME3. It just cost less to make.
Actually, I'd like some feedback on my version of Miranda's father if that's all right. His cha[ter is up next, though I don't have much worth posting.
