Yeah, I'm eating the leaked stuff up. And don't worry about cheating. It's no big deal.
Could you PM me what happens so as to avoid spoilers in the thread?

I just fear BW won't see it that way.
Well, the romance stuff for Miranda in the leaked script seems really good, actually. Better than ME2, much more emotional. Like the rest of Miranda's role in the script, it's not finished. But it's promising.

Suit yourself. I think some of the early assumptions people were making about romances likes Jacob's, for instance, were probably somewhat overblown. But anyway, I've taken a closer look at the Miranda stuff than anything else, and it looks good. Very different vibe from ME2, in positive ways.

It also removes the old issue I had with Miranda's romance in ME2 - it won't feel like an ONS anymore.

No, it's more... Casablanca-esque, I would say, in the sense that it's like the troubles of two little people caught up in the swirling tide of galactic events.
But in a good way. And with a happy, though bittersweet ending

Guess the conclusion of each romance depends on how your Shepard saves the galaxy (if at all).
So there's a high chance that conclusion will range from "sad ending" to "happy ending" in different flavors.

She is perfect. She is sweet. She has a nice accent. She is amazing. And I love her. So much!

Casablanca-esque. That's it, exactly. The war has driven them apart, physically, but they're closer emotionally. Miranda is this recurring figure whose story intersects with Shepard's but never quite touches, until the end. Shepard's love for, and trust in her is clear to see.
After all that sh*t Shepard had to go through s/he deserves a happy end with his/her lover. 'nuff said.

I have to attribute this also to Miranda. In particular, her childhood.

You've never read my posts on the subject, have you? About the kindest I could say before the leak was that I could tolerate it if I did everything right.

Yes, there was a lot of dissapointment when someone discovered that she won't be a permanent squadmate, and that this will likely happen to most of the ME2 characters...AgitatedLemon wrote...

People were crap talking the romance? From what I've seen it was prettty well received, with no one really bashing it. At the least people say it was about halfway decent, at most people say it was a work of art.
