Well, the romance stuff for Miranda in the leaked script seems really good, actually. Better than ME2, much more emotional. Like the rest of Miranda's role in the script, it's not finished. But it's promising.

I didn't read Miri's romance, just part of Ashley's stuff. From what I saw & heard so far, ME1 romances will return - with double force, so to speak. Not all ME2 romances play out that well - at least Miri's seems to have a conclusion or happy end.
Not sure, since I didn't read them. Maybe I should?

Yep. That feels right to me, after all, the scenario is pretty much dark. There's not much place for "dark" romances - they should lighten up Shepard's and his/her lovers mood. Great to see Miranda can do that - nothing is more powerful than a lover strengthening your back. It also removes the old issue I had with Miranda's romance in ME2 - it won't feel like an ONS anymore.

Which is great. Justice for Miri :happy:

No, it's more... Casablanca-esque, I would say, in the sense that it's like the troubles of two little people caught up in the swirling tide of galactic events.

But in a good way. And with a happy, though bittersweet ending

Like I say, it's not finished, though, in the sense that there seems to be a chunk of the story missing.

Guess the conclusion of each romance depends on how your Shepard saves the galaxy (if at all).
So there's a high chance that conclusion will range from "sad ending" to "happy ending" in different flavors.

From what I've got there are at least two "final" conclusions for each relationship, but won't go into details. Spoilers and such. ^^

Right, potential for a happy ending, I probably should have said. There are, as you say, different possible endings.

Then I'm happy for you guys. I just hope the rewarding scene(s) will be -rewarding- - after all, you have to wait for a long time.
Of course I'm going for the "most" happy end. After all that sh*t Shepard had to go through s/he deserves a happy end with his/her lover. 'nuff said.


The only LI that won't get that much trouble (with too many possible ends including "final end") is the obvious one, but I didn't say anything.

True that, as well.

Both of my canon Shep's are Spacer, but one is War Hero and the other is Sole Survivor.

Sole Survivor is the one that romanced Ash in ME1.

People were crap talking the romance? From what I've seen it was prettty well received, with no one really bashing it. At the least people say it was about halfway decent, at most people say it was a work of art.

Yes, there was a lot of dissapointment when someone discovered that she won't be a permanent squadmate, and that this will likely happen to most of the ME2 characters...

Anyway, I am glad to hear that at least the romance will be continueable.
