Most definitely.

It'll be interesting to actually see it in execution, opposed to just reading leaks.

Yeah, that's the most exciting thing about right ? I'm craving to see that as well, given the fact that we reworked the facial expressions and watnot, it would be even more touching .

Ashley: G'morning Miranda. Still "Williams" to you?
Miranda: I like to keep things official as long as we're in duty.
Ashley: Why that? This is an Alliance ship, true, but since you're a specialist and not part of the military ...
Miranda: It's about the image. See, half of the crew thinks I'll eat them for breakfast. They call me "Icequeen" and "TDH of Shepard" ...
Ashley: "TDH"?
Miranda: "The Deadly Hand".
Ashley: Figures.
Miranda: In short: I like to keep that image. This crew works harder when I'm around - even without being their boss. If they would know we're close friends, it could harm that image.
Ashley: Uhh ... okay. Doesn't make much sense to me. You could be friendly without losing your image, you know?
Miranda: Tell me then.
Ashley: Find it out.
Miranda: Just tell me. What can you lose?
Ashley: It's less challenging for you. It took years for me to become what I am.

Miranda: No. And who do you pick now? We have this issue for five months now ...
Shepard: And I said I need time. Decisions, decisions. My entire life consists of important decisions ... Rachni Queen here, kick random merc out of window there, stab Batarian or don't ... save the Council. You know the deal. Both of you.

I think I've said it before, but I like this setup where Miranda appears to have her own story arc running offscreen in parallel with Shepard's. I doubt we'll get a lot of details about it, but it's practically made for writing fanfic about it, and it stresses Miranda's independence. 

If It's good enough, I may actually prefer this scenario to having her on the team.

Well, one reason I'm in favor of dialing back the negativity a bit is that, well, having digested the whole thing a bit more, I actually think it could plausibly be... pretty amazing.

I don't know that it will be in actual fact, but it's enough to make me want to judge the game by the game.

Though I am somewhat inclined to agree, I still want to be able to recruit her after all of her missions have been completed (They do all take place before the conclusion to the game, right?)

I am still hoping she could join us on the Normandy as well . As all of you said, the fact that she is doing her own thing shows once more how resourceful and competent she is . Though I needed a bit of time after the leak to make up my mind about it . Old ME2 habits of having her onboard I suppose .

Well, one of the things that is a bit odd about Miranda's role in the leaked script (and I don't believe I am spoiling anything by saying this) is that the traditional invitation to join up is not there (whereas it's there for everyone else).

And, potentially, one thing that could be a bit irritating is there might be a point where it seems like she should join up, and she doesn't. But, this is one of the many indications that the whole thing is unfinished. I think that, in the finished product, the invitation will be there somewhere, and she will probably have a better reason not to join up (assuming she doesn't join up, which I think is the plausible assumption at this point).

I will cry a river. Oh, I can certainly deal with Miranda not being present for most of the game as long her content is awesome. There's certainly something to be said about squadmates who can do their own thing instead of simply followying in Shepard's shadow.
However, Miranda being there for the final confrontation with Jack Harper is a Must!

Guys, I know this is off-topic, but I need some help. I'm currently replaying ME2. I've finished all the LM, plus LOTSB ans nearly all the side quest. I've just completed the Reaper IFF quest, and EDI reported me that the IFF is ready, and I can't do Legion's LM, I didn't even activate Legion yet.. In my previous playtrough I left one LM before doing the Reaper IFF. Maybe I should've left one LM before doing the Reaper IFF quest, or it's all this related to LOTSB?

I usually have Tali's LM left though so I can't say. D:

What I do is wake up Legion *immediately and talk to him* he won't give you his  LM right away that way. Do a N7 quest or someone else's loyalty/recruitment and then the next time you come back he should give you the LM.

That's strange. How many missions you do before retrieving the IFF should have no bearing on how soon it is instaled. For example, I always do Overlord before the IFF.
Have you spoken to Legion and received his LM yet?

I haven't spoken with it. I haven even activate it. I went to talk with Kelly, and EDI reported me. I'll try to go to Legion before going to the galaxy map, but somehow I doubt that's the reason. I fear it's because Overlord and Arrival are side quest, so I don't have any main quest left.

That might be why. See if you can reload and don't go talk to Kelly or anyone else. Try to activate Legion before doing anything else.

That's definitively the reason. Activate it and the game should automatically give you one more mission to complete before the crew is kidnapped, Legion's LM.
If that doesn't work, do like Ryzaki suggested and activate Legion imediatelly after the IFF mission without speaking to anyone beforehand.

It's true, activating Legion will give me an additional quest. At least I can complete Legion's LM before the abduction. Though I don't know if I can do Overlord too. Someone know if I can do Overlord before Legion's LM?
The fault for this behaviour was most likely the fact that I completed all the other main quests. I didn't know this would've happened (this is my first playtrough with LOTSB and the other dlc that I do from the start).
Anyway, thanks to both Ryzaki and MisterJB for you help .

Yeah, the most fun I have with the game is to, before doing the Reaper IFF, do all of the recruitment and loyalty missions EXCEPT for Tali's loyalty mission. Then do the Reaper IFF. Activate Legion and take him with you on Tali's loyalty mission. Afterwards, you can speak with Legion and get the Heretic loyalty mission without the kidnap scene triggering. Immediately do Legion's LM, and right afterwards you will roll into the suicide mission.
Bringing Legion along to Tali's trial is hilarious, especially the dialogue with Claudia Black's character (Admiral Xen?).

I do everyone's (Except Legion) LM before giong to the derelict Reaper.

As soon as I return to the Normandy, I wake Legion. Following, I'm able to obtain his loyalty mission. Go do the kidnapping scene, and as soon as I return I go do the LM.

It's never failed so far.

I already did that. The problem, this time, is that I wanted to do Overlord and Legion LM, so I completed all the LM.

Am I reading this right, or did you say we could invite the ME2 characters to the Normandy? I assume that's what you meant.

In that case, if it's their for everyone else, but not her, then it's likely not finished, or wasn't in the leak.

Unless BioWare just absolutely hates Miranda that much.
