I'll miss Mordin's rendition of Gillbert and Sullivan, Mostly because I was hoping for a scene like this with him and Legion.
On the Miranda front, what I've read in the leak there's a lot of potential. I think that by seperating her from Shepard she's really going to cement her position as Shepard's equal and that's a big part of why I like her character. The same can be said with Jack, her role in the leak has her undergoing some serious character development that can be sparked by romancing her in ME2, but for the most part she develops on her own accord.

Great analogy. Sums up my thought pretty well.naledgeborn wrote...
And I said it many times before (other people have started using it in fact) Beattie did for ME2 what Heath Ledger did for TDK.

Know where I could read that paper? Sounds interesting.JeffZero wrote...
Yeah, he was. Willing to give the new VA as honest a shot as I can, but, well, I wrote a paper on how Beattie's portrayal in particular was a step forward in games being perceived as powerful storytelling devices, and how he turned a great script into a legendary one with his memorable tones. It's rough.
I think the odds are still in our favor here with Yvonne, though. I mean, it's not like BioWare based Mordin's facial features on his voice actor.

I have to say I don't like that kind of ending - these always sound as if the characters' story is finished and nothing happens ever after but boring stuff. I'd prefer an ending that qualifies as "happy", but also looks as if the ending of this story is the start of a new one.Rdubs wrote...
Here's crossing fingers that encouraging her to talk to her sister in ME2 doesn't prevent or dissuade her from a happily-ever-after ending with Shep in ME3.

Kinda depending on the "happy ending". I prefer a "happy ending" over an "open ending" or a "sad ending". Think you said that with different words.
I'd say Miranda and Shepard simply should continue their work as "peacekeepers". Some easy jobs, the usual business so to speak. That's still different from the happy end I want with Ashley and Shepard - they're going to settle down but will be ready if the Alliance or the Council calls.
Can't see them doing boring stuff. But also can't see them continueing the life under constant fire and the danger of sudden death.

I think Miranda would be content to settle down in the future (2-5 years), but certainly not immediately. She already implies that she'd like to someday in some of her dialogue. It'd be nice to see her have a family of her own with Shepard, since she never really had one to begin with.

Actually, I doubt anyone can settle down right after the war is over. There is a full galaxy to rebuild and Shepard will - if s/he is still alive - play a big part then. That also includes the LI.
Maybe Miranda will become one of the pivot points in a post-war galaxy. After all, there is still the Cerberus-issue ... can't get more about her in my mind right now.

Wasn't part of the leak pertaining to Cerberus basically saying that it will either be disbanded, destroyed, or repurposed by the end?

I didn't read anything of the leak, just the parts I'm most interested in (VS-related story, VS-romances).
In case Cerberus gets repurposed, I can see Miranda taking her place as CEO.

What is this movie and why have not seen or heard about the awesome that it is....
A scene like the between Mordin and Legion.... would be amazing.
Though I think Go would be a far more interesting to use... it from what i have read is more fluid than chess.

It only makes sense that they would.
I'm rather interested to see if anyone besides Beattie has been replaced.
Off topic, but how does non-Beattie Mordin sound? He was in the demo, right?

I actually think Oriana should be voiced by someone else, preferably with a non-Miranda sounding accent, if possible.
I can't immediately think of anyone atm, though.
