Here's an idea: make him sterile. Miranda's creation was the only way he could have kids. He asks Miranda if they're so very different. Cue some kind of discussion of her infertility once he's dealt with.

It will be interesting to see what they come up with for this. He's rich, and probably used to being treated like royalty, so I'm not sure he should come across as... ordinary in all respects. I also wonder whether he's strict with himself in terms of his training regimen, or whatever, mentally and physically.

There's a lot of room to work here, since we know so little about him.

I fully expect his clothes to be shiny and somewhat flamboyant, but his personal figure to be kinda normal. With a harem. Evil superstar billionaires always have harems.

So long as he isn't like Fabio, but with short hair.

Hmm..agreed. Mr. Lawson Luthor is described as "a power-mad, evil scientist" of high intelligence and incredible technological prowess. His goals typically center on killing Superman, usually as a stepping stone to world domination. Dunno about the "bald" part, Kryptonite radiation? Heh!

Part of me wants BioWare to rename Mr. Lawson "Lex Lawson".

As you say, the list is meh, but the Miranda blurb is pretty solid.

This could be a good way to introduce the subject of Miranda's infertility . Also that would explain why he " created " daughter . Aside from the fact that he wanted his dynasty as pure and perfect as possible, such a wealthy and powerful man wouldn't have problem to have a child of his own .

Still it's bad journalism. Not that I'd expect anything else from the gaming industry. IGN blogs, lists, and articles are like giving the average poster on the BSN the power to be "heard" all over the internet.

Personally, I think he shouldn't be sterile.

Of course, if he IS, it paints a picture of desperation, and a willingness to completely forsake his daughter's life to progress his dynasty. Of course, he already does this, but it reinforces it and makes it stronger.

If he ISN'T, it paints him as more of a tyrant, just controlling everything.

Both are terrible kinds of people, but I think the bottom has more potential.

Irrelevant. I think we can all agree what makes him a monster is not how he creates his daugthers but rather what he creates them for and how he treats them.

I'm sort of picturing him having some of the same characteristics as Miranda. Pale skin, blue eyes, dark or greying hair, etc. At best I'd like a Lex Luthor-like character at worst I'm expecting Dr. Venture.

Journalism implies stating facts and information, favorite lists are just opinions.

It isn't bad journalism, because it isn't journalism. A journalist can blurb his little opinion, but the entire article being opinionated makes it... Not journalism.
