100 pages!!! Woohoo! Kaidan's thread is only the third character thread in ME3 forums to reach 100 pages milestone! BW should take notes! It's a testimony to his popularity and decication of his fans! We should tweet the news to BW people like Miranda fans did when her thread reached 100 pages!

I've always wondered about that one. I've always associated that small pause with the "enlisting" part and not the "making father proud" part. I don't know which of the two he's talking about now. >__<

I suppose it could also be both: Kaidan's dad pushing him to enlist thus only then making him proud? And yeah, being a biotic probably didn't help.

I'm starting to dislike his dad <_< He better not be some military ass pushing Kaidan for not being 'accomplished' enough or not precisely what daddy wanted or for something that happened to Kaidan accidentaly (the exposure) <_<

I think that being in love helps with it. Things like that seem to melt away, and not even bother some people anymore. Then again your Shepard does die, and puts a damper on that feeling; bringing it all back so to speak. He would havehad to bury those feelings, and thus putting him back into the "ticking bomb" status again. I have faith in him though. If he does expload at one point in time it would be a mild thing, and soothing it over would almost a simple matter.

That's the thing though, I think love only makes it worse for him. He snapped at Vyrnnus so hard because he was in love with Rahna. On Horizon, he snaps at Shep who he's romantically invested in.

Ohh wow didn't even think about it this way. And it's just amazing how VS BOTH have 100+ pages threads, Miranda's the only other character to have that. It should really show BW how much people care for these two and that they should to be as good written (means NOT made into one VS character) in ME3 as it's possible.

Yeah, if there's one unique ability assigned to Kaidan, I hope it's Neural Shock.  That was a HUGE help in ME1.

And here's to many hundreds of page more of VS before ME3 comes out.

Coooool.  Although I'm guessing that means that Kaidan/Ashley can die, depending on your actions.  I was kind of hoping that they would have plot immunity in this game.  After Virmire and Horizon, I think they've earned it.

Maybe *hopefully* he means past decisions? And as far as it goes, maybe they all can die in 3......... They certainly will all be dying a lot in my games if BioWare ramp up the difficulty too much

I had to read that a couple of times...
I think he means if we look after VS in the game as well as we do on the forums all will be well..............
At least I hope that is what he means <_<

I was really hoping that was the case too. But the thing is, they have had plot immunity up until this point. The one you picked to be the Vimire survivor can't die. If Ashley died then Kaidan has plot immunity and vise versa if Kaidan died. Though Horizon was indeed a close call there was no way for them to die if you didn't do things right. I doubt there is going to be another damsel in destress moment or another close call like Horizon, but I guess this means there will be a moment where they either live or die. Simliar to if one of your squaddies was unloyal in the suicide mission.

Though I'm pretty sure I've done everything I can to keep Kaidan live for ME3, I'm not so sure about Shepard living. Playing a super self sacrifice Paragon Shepard might have been a bad idea... It would be terrible if I get a West Side Story ending. One lives, the other dies.

...Though comparing Shepard to Tony and Kaidan to Maria has left a very weird image in my head...
