No, that's not the only thing he said. When the podcaster asked him directly if Kaidan will be available to romance for male Shepard, he said that he thinks yes because BioWare mentioned/told him about it and that they're still writing the dialogues. THEN, when the audience laughed about the question/answer regarding gay Kaidan romance, he said it's cool/fine and that he's all up for it. And it wasn't just one podcaster who paraphrased it. A BSN Kaidan fan who was at the panel reported the same thing, in this very thread, and said that to her it also sounded like a confirmation. It's all here. Maybe because some people want those choices and want the devs to know they care about having them. Keeping quiet helps no one. If you don't care about same sex relationships with Kaidan, I don't know why you even bother to say it in the first place. Why does the same sex stuff even matter? I mean if I am play GTA I don't have a choice in if my character is Female, most games don't give you the option at all. Why b*tch about it at all? If they don't give you the option so what. We are the minorities here, we are not their core group of gamers. If we were Chobot wouldn't have a half naked avatar in the game.
