And I second the hope that we see some Kai Kai in the promotional materials this time.  I'm already adopting my positive attitude because when I pre-ordered my collectors edition, it said there was a femShep on the case as well.

No, this is good!  Kaidan spending a lot of time walking around in uniform...being commanding and decisive...having his own quarters...giving Shepard a chance to serve under him... accentuate the positive!  :happy:

We need more Kaidan in dress uniform.

Geez, I'm sorry! lol I thought it was a cool idea to know Kaidan is now a bad@-- along side Shepard. They could like work together and such. :3

But it would suck too now that I think of it. Shepard would be separeted from his/her squeeze. :/

As much as I hate to admit it, I actually like this idea. I don't want Kaidan's career to me tied under Shepard. (Yes, that was inteneded) His a talented and intelligant marine and his career as a Spectre has just started. This really is his chance to "Do some good." Though I do want, somehow where they can work together. Shepard and Alenko kicking ass for goodness sake!

Not meaning to get too off topic but that is how I feel about almost all of Shepard's team. She has found 16 of the most talented people in the galaxy to work with her. Each of them have something to offer the galaxy outside of Shepard's team. And together the Reapers don't a chance!!

I am in the minority clearly, I have no problem with being dominated by................. ummmm..... being Kaidan's subordinate... It's about time Shepard did as he/she is told It has....................... potential....

I just hope he is a significant squadie, regardless of where he is located or serving. I was a litle troubled by the "to some extent" qualifier in the Game Informer article, as in he and Ash and Liara will "be playable to some extent."

Makes me nervous. I really want to see my buddies back in action. Not yelling at me and telling me what a horrible person I am.

I have no problem whatsoever with Kaidan having command over Shepard. But I highly doubt that is how its going to happen in game. Since Kaidan is the only one who now outranks Shepard, Ashley is a LT. And probably the tidewave of baseless hate for Kaidan would only increase if Bioware let Kaidan command Shepard. But regardless of rank, I think Kaidan will follow Shepard's lead (not command) when it comes to fighting the Reapers. But I'm sure if Shepard does something Kaidan does not approve of he won't let it slide. I imagine their working relationship being closer to what Shepard's and Nihlus' team Spectre relationship would have been had Saren not giving him a new breathing hole in the back of his head.

Man, anyone think maybe Shep deserves a promotion too? I mean, seriously, saved the galaxy twice, this time with proof. Maybe they will be...equals.

And hopefully he's not hunting her down as a renegade like she did Saren. I would feel really bad if my Shep had to shoot her boyfriend in the face.

Yes unfinished business. I'm hoping his on-board Normandy gear is ummmm befitting on him 

I so would love him to boss my Shepard around, she'd get so confused but kinda like it at the same time mwhaha.
