wow that sucks! Doesn't surprise me, seeing as they are having so much money trouble lately. I would laugh if when it comes to release Friday, they can't pass their release list, so they can't sell it. I never knew about that, stores have to pass a upcoming release form so they can sell new releases.

It's a shame GAME get's a version of the collectors edition, they over charge everything in store. new games are like £45! you can find them online or at places like asda and tesco for £37. No wonder they have such money problems. They simply won't compete with other stores to offer the best prices. People just won't buy from there for that sort of price. even second hand games are expensive.

Then again I did pick up Mass Effect 1 for PC for £5. not to play it yet only to extract the models. my laptop can't handle such a game.  Also does anyone know how to mod the lead character so I can play as Kaidan?? pm me please if possible. I'll explain which model I wish to use lol cough.

What the --?  That is completely unacceptable.  Is there someone to whom I can send a strongly worded letter on your behalf?  Can I break someone's kneecaps for you?  Kaidan will shoot someone if it'll make you feel better.  Seriously.  They have to get it back for you.

They are going to get a horrible phone-call tomorrow. I dont want to shout at the person, isnt there fault but I'm so upset. I emailed them weeks ago to confirm all was ok. They said it was. I had no cancellation email at all they just cancelled it!

That's worrying - pretty much the same thing happened with DA2 pre-orders last year with a week to go. I think that was a system error when they were trying to take payments though?

I've been keeping a wary eye on my order with them. I didn't order CE so wouldn't affect me as much...still would rather not have to traipse into the store to get it.

I'm not seeing the Xbox collectors edition on Game.co.uk at all... that's very odd and hopefully just a database error, there's no reason why they would just not have it at all. But yeah, ring them when you can and keep your order number at hand.

Finally played the demo last night. I'm sure others have mentioned this, but both Sheps look almost like comic book characters in the creation area, then appear a bit more normal in game. Tried some face codes I found online, and the result was noticeably different from ME2. That has me worried about my FemShep, but I'm hoping it's just a demo issue like the flaps not always syncing to the audio.

Combat and gameplay is solid though, and I LOVE the new cover system.  Kaidan looked amazing and I kinda had to let myself fangirl out for a bit.

I can't till tomorrow. I spoke to them in Jan, everything was okay aswell.

I'll just play the demo and see if Kaidan cheers me up, I just want the DLC!

cover system: I loooooove the rolling and all but I'm having trouble getting OUT of cover since pressing B doesn't do the job anymore = o

There was another thread a week or so ago about some guy who had his cancelled too, even though he had pre-ordered way back in June or July or something like that. I think that was game.co.uk
Unless you were the one who started that thread, that is.

Don't know if he got any answer and if the situation was resolved, but if you find that thread maybe he's updated it about what happened.

They've obviously screwed up. I bet you and that other guy are not the only ones this has happened to, either.

I hope it works out well once you talk to them.

@Vault That completely sucks. I also remember all the rage in the DA2 forum last year when they pulled the same thing over the SE DA2 preorders for lots of people. Is there some other company that you can give your business to in future? This definitely sounds like a pattern to me, and that they aren't to be trusted. *big hugs* I hope they do right by you.

I had to skip pages from being so far behind, hope I didn't miss anything good. I've played the demo more than half a dozen times since yesterday afternoon. I couldn't win at the bloody facebook game either. I had to get my 15 year old son to do it for me, and he did it on his first try! After it downloaded, I told my kids I would be upstairs playing in my room and to shout if they needed me for anything, and they all started singing this at the same time.  My kids are such nerds.

The demo is quite short and pared down. I'm sure the CC has only a portion of the choices we will have in the full game, but I've still had fun playing with it. Purple hair? Sure, why not? I'm actually wondering if they made it really short on purpose so people would be more inclined to give MP a try? :innocent:

Anyway, I'll be doing nothing but MP from Tuesday onward, I guess. Gotta have something to fill the time until the game releases.

@Bekkael, I usually go with Shopto.net they are great but game hogged the N7 so I had to go them. Gamestation had it, my friend has a spare hopefully from them. But they are owned by Game so I'm not getting my hopes up.

If I can find out if all the DLC will be available (inc. the armour) on day one I wont be so upset but bioware are being tight lipped atm

The demo says something about having to create an origins-account to participate? Is that true? Or will the demo be available like that on tuesday?

 Is Game the only place in the UK that is selling the Collectors Edition for pre-order?  I know I could purchase the game through Origin but tbh I prefer a physical copy of the game.

 Looking forward to Tuesday for the demo but not only is it V-Day it's my hubby's birthday so play-time is going to be limited

I've been avoiding news and boards so I don't run across spoilers. But I saw the demo clips and now I want all the spoilers.

The last few moments of that femshep demo-- god. Its designed to ruin me. The steeled nerve on Kaidan's face, the goodbye to Anderson and him fading in the distance. I wanted him on my ship, but he's so brave. So much faith in Shep-- that last scene of the kid.. *weep*

i will remain broken until the game lauches for real.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear that.  My pre-order for the CE is also with Game. However, I play on the PS3 and there are alot more copies for that available as it is the least played platform for ME3. I just checked my pre-order now and it's still fine. I can't believe that Game/GameStation are the only places in the whole of the UK that you can get the CE from, its so annoying as I would never ever use them otherwise.

Don't cry, I'm sure you can get it sorted out before the game comes out.
