Played the demo, took some screenshots, lol.  I have to say that the CC really made my Shepard unrecognisable (that's her in my avi), hopefully Kaidan won't mind and I still have heaps of time for tweaking, lol.

I'm putting some faith in hoping that the CC in the demo isn't the final product. Mostly because I noticed when I was putting in face codes that some features skip. Like selection A would jump over to D as the next choice, or 1 jumps to 4.

They had to cut a lot for space reasons for the demo so hoping that there are some CC options that were apart of that cut and will be seen in the full game. If not then no big deal. I would have liked Ashley's hair as an option or default femshep's but its not a game breaker for me.

I think that the jump from ME2 and ME3 matches quite well.... she looks a bit paler, than before, but still recognizable.

Also I think the differences in CC facial features lean heavily in the nose, mouth and chin areas. But overall, everything but eyes have been scaled down. Female noses are almost shockingly small in ME3.  I thought my femshep had a nice strong amazon jaw in ME2, but in ME3 its tiny.

Edit: Actually everyone is a bit washed out in the prologue. But since Bioware designs entirely different lighting and color themes for each segment, its not unreasonable. The scenes of the salarian homeworld are a bit more saturated in color.

Just see them as doing the tango to start ... a little sexual tension underneath the frost.

My Cinder Shepard would turn a cold shoulder but inside she would be dying for him.

Sorry to go off topic, but I love LOVE LOVE how the hair looks in ME3. I'm even starting to like the buns and ponytails that make the profile of heads look elongated. Look at that! It actually looks soft! And I think the black hair is particularly beautiful. Shiny without looking greasy or plastic.

They do have some really good hair textures in there and then some blah. I really, really was hoping for something longer but I'm hoping their will be more options with the game. I'm so damn curious to see how first seeing one another looks like if you romanced him compared to the demo.

Just finished my second playthrough of the demo with a ME3 recreated version of my main FemShep. I was actually surprised by how close to her it looks (her face code was botched because I imported her face from ME1 as opposed to recreating it).

Ohhh my god, the demo is insanely fun. I can't wait for MP.

Does anyone know what-if anything the demo would unlock? Do we get any achievements or anything?

I don't think Kaidan or Shepard would greet each other much differently than they do in the demo. Positive or negative would be inappropriate in that setting. I'm startled at how often people forget that they're in the military. They're a serious bunch (on duty, anyway).
Also, they're in a place packed with dozens, perhaps hundreds of high ranking brass and officials. Any show of emotion from "yay, you're alive!" to "You broke mah heart!" would be in front of said brass and officials-- akin to making a scene in front of that many disapproving/judmental scary-ass parental figures.

Actually, they're both in a bad position, because they're both in high positions. High enough to be pressured to act a certain way in front of the grunts. Not high enough to let loose in front of admirals and such.

So I finished my second run of the demo and I have to say I liked it! Specially because Kaidan looks amazingly hot. At first I thought Shep acted cold towards Kaidan but when I tried different characters I was able to notice a slight smile of acknowledgement when they meet. Still! I mean I could understand, specially because at the moment Shep has something important to take care of but my heart did go out to him when he just looked at her with puppy eyes. And the "I used to" know her line.....*sigh* I do hope it's different in the full romance import.

I'm also wondering if you can keep Kaidan throughout the whole game but that might not be the case, I'd like for Shep to at least try to rekindle the relationship because things aren't good between them.

And before I forget I have a question. I'm not sure how the military or for that matter the Alliance ranks work but who has a higher rank? Shepard or Kaidan. Wasn't Kaidan "Commander" in ME2? Or am I confusing things! Just wondering~
