I noticed that too.  But you can play the game without getting reinstated to spectre status so maybe it was just covering that possibility.

Well, it is possible to not get Spectre reinstatement in ME2, if you chose Udina for counselor and don't accept the reinstatement.

You can do this?  Does it only work on PC?  On Xbox, I think that if you enter the CC you automatically start from the default shep--not your import shep.

^This. My ME1 Import (XBox) Shepard's face looked off in ME2, so I went to change it and had to start from default scratch. Cue to me spending a good 10-20 minutes going back and forth between my Import look and new look to make sure they looked as close as possible.

I wonder if that's using default settings, like in ME2, the default is that the Council is human lead and Udina is the Councillor so there's no way to get Shepard's Spectre status back. I swear I read something about how they would address whether Shepard was reinstated or not.

I love seeing pictures of everyone's Shepards. My faithful Shepard came out perfect and her eyes are so sparkly and vibrant green.
 

Am I alone in thinking that the blue and green shades of eye in ME3 came out the best? All the brownish/hazel eyes in ME2 are vibrant, but in ME3 they're really washed out.

Use reverse psychology to make him think it was his idea for you to get a hoodie? 

I told my hubby I want one of the N7 Vintage M-65 Field Jackets for my birthday. I <3 how it looks. I could use a hoodie too though, the one I have is starting to accumulate quite a few holes.

It would be interesting if they had taken away her status due to events of Arrival. Hopefully there will be differences. If there's not I'm cool with it. And Just read your post in the group Isaac! Great news! Now if all is well and true, I can finally play a manshep and not play through all sad wishing I could romance Kaidan instead. /confetti C'mon Martch 6th!

Has anyone played on both Xbox and PC? I've always wanted to buy it for PC because I could play privately--but I can't imagine the combat aspect. It seems like it would be a lot tougher on PC.

As for the demo, I think they went with a default "canon" Shepard - similar to what happened to ME2 if you didn't have Genesis: you let the council die and Udina was counselor. I'm hoping that getting reinstated in ME2 results in at least a few differences. Also I'm expecting the events of Arrival to be addressed in the intro too (if you played it) since that seemed like it would be a pretty big deal. I remember reading about how the consequences that didn't affect anything in ME2 would have an impact in ME3 so I'm trusting them right now.

As for the CC in ME2 on Xbox, I remembering trying to alter my customized imported face but it reverting to the "default" so I couldn't change anything and get a modified face code. I'm not really worried about the CC in the demo; I think the demo was already quite large so they had to cut some things out.

I never go to the General Discussion forums here; it just feels like a bunch of spam and random trolling. Character threads are usually pretty good.

Ive played Me1 on xbox and pc, and Me2 on xbox, pc and ps3. you get use to it. Its not that hard. Shooting is actually a bit easier, you point and click (mouse), similar to a real gun. vs a controller where its..less...real.. I cant think of how to word it

I'm still having trouble with Aurin. Trying to figure out where I'm going wrong in the demo CC. I already know the code is flat out wrong, but... Sucks having 360 and only being able to take photos with a camera for reference. I need to load up ME1 and get each game comparison shots of her. If she doesn't import into 3 correctly, Kaidan and I will be sad Panda.

Don't modify your imported Shep in the CC. You'll get the code at the top of the screen once you get into the Squad menu in game.

If you don't modify then you don't get a code in game.  I haven't been able to check out any of my sheps imported from ME1 for this reason.  The code just doesn't show up unless you modify in ME2.

I mostly lurk, but the few times I post I know everyone will try to respond or acknowledge me, unlike some forums I've been on. 

Solved the ME2 face code problem, it is provided on the Xbox version after all.
