I'm playing the demo as male shep. Does anyone notice that the animations for Anderson's face are much better in the broshep version? Also, when Anderson calls mshep soft around the edges, John Shep touches his belly briefly with one hand for a split second but doesn't look down. When Anderson imples femshep is getting flabby, she touches her belly with both hands, looks down at herself almost twice as long, like it would have an effect on her vanity. Sheesh.

Kaidan looks more reserved when he says "I used to" in JohnShep's demo. For Femshep his face looks more wistful. He stares at John/Femshep's asses equally long, though.

mineralica .... just wow. That whole post is depressing.

I'm sorry but I have to frown at your wording here. "Great character like Kaidan"? So the guys are only allowed to get a "stupid character"? ôO

Edit: @ dirae I thought I was the only one who noticed that! The thing with the hands at least. I can just think of the conversations.

I noticed the belly animation differences too!  I know they did some custom animations for Femshep but I didn't think that'd be one of them, more like make sure she doesn't spread her legs wide open when she's wearing a dress.  Femshep still walks and runs like a man though.

I'm offended that people view sexuality as a primary attribute and its not. Kaidan for years has been a guy dedicated to duty, honor, bad dancing, and self-sacrifice. You learn he could be a s/s option for some players and it ruins years of character development? I feel sad for you.

I'm so jealous! I would love to see the Bayeaux Tapestry. I did go to France, saw Notre Dame. That was enough for me. 

Regarding Kaidan as a S/S romance, how can the 'outing' of a character change your perception of them? Nothing changes about them, they still very much have the same personality. Heck, it won't even affect a FemShep, I can wager now. It's not like Kaidan would be strutting around the Normandy with a pink purse and high heels, because that's obviously an archaic and false stereotype. I don't see how it changes him as a character at all, really. True, he never shows interest really in a MaleShep, but if BioWare put it in the game, then it's fine by me. I'm sure they can write it in a clever and subtle manner.

No, actually I'll be just as p*ssed if Miranda is rewriten for S/S. That's stupid. A writer shouldn't change who that character is. And for the pasted two games, Kaidan hasn't liked bum fun.

On a related note, I actually started watching North and South because I was flicking through Netflix movies and watched a movie called "Lost in Austen" which led me to North and South. Guys, if you like Pride and Prejudice (which I'm sure you do) watch "Lost in Austen". It's a pretty long, though, because it's a four part mini-series that got turned into a movie. I don't know if it's on YouTube, but it should still be on Netflix.

Considering we're talking about one of the most private characters in the Mass Effect series? And I don't think it's "Sudden" that Kaidan might be bi. Remember, Kaidan was originally meant to be a  bi option in ME1. Whole paragraphs between Sbarge and Meer were not only written, but recorded and animated.  Not just a few jotted down ideas, but weeks, if not months of writing, recording and animating (which you can unlock and see with hacks). The same for Ashley. Just less of her conversations with femshep were cut at the last minute.

I'd hate to be someone you know in real life. If you've known someone of upstanding character irl, but learned their sexual tastes weren't what you expected, and that person was forever ruined for you--  well no one's a winner in that scenario.
