Kaidan's getting shot in the head, if he hits on my Shepard. Sorry bro, don't swing from the back.
Bioware I am disappointed if Kaidan is bi. He was the only human squadmember I liked! Damn you.
Wow...thats just so small minded to say something like that. The moment the option for Kaidan to maybe be a s/s LI suddenly makes you hate him?! Get off you computer go outside and realise it's the 2012. Your views should remain in the 50's.
No need at all.

Am I the only one here that just don't care about Kaidan's sexuality ? As long as he is romanceable for my FemShep - I'm happy.
I will sit with you, if you don't mind.
I'll add for my own part, I'm happy for those who were hoping for it to happen if it does...
I still love Kaidan. lol
Got room for more? Honestly, the only thing that bothers me with Kaidan's relationships is that line he dropped about the doctor in his letter. If she turns out to be Chloe Michel, Shep will skin that traitor in ME3
If Kaidan turns out to swing both ways in March, I'll probably never know, as I have a hard time playing M!Shep. As long as BioWare can make the romance believable and not something they hastily thrown in to pander to the crowds... They tried that with DA2, it kinda blew up in their face. Write what you're comfortable with, BioWare. Try to phone it in and the fandom will tear into that crap like you wouldn't believe.

he did say it to femshep. he says it to romanced femshep as well, if you don't pick paragon option that results in "I loved you" it was the reason i originaly replayed that stupid scion battle multiple times, becasue I read that he says I loved you in that conversation, and I didn't get it the first time, becasue "its been too long, Kaidan, how have you been" sounded bad, while "you don't look happy to see me" actualy sounded reasonable

Damn it! My defence, I only ever romanced him as femshep so I couldn't have known that

Seconded.
Although I think she's more into Garrus. Either way, she'll be getting a cold greeting in ME3 if she shows up. Stay off my turf, lady!

Man, it's going to be so sweet, when my FemShep gets to romance Kaidan in my game, and IsaacShep's Male Shepard romances Kaidan in his game, and then we come back here and post pictures of it, and we'll be like:

no it comfirms that bioware was lazy when writing that scene, they just used romance dialoge becasue why would anyone save Kaidan if they didn't romance him, right? if that's used in ME3, that's going to be one of those unintened artistic things, you end up using. kinda like I end up using odd pieces of scrap silver to make new piece of jewelry, instead of just melting them down like i'd normaly would.

I may have used a third option, its been a while. but I remember it very well, becasue it was my first ME2 playthrough, and I had a ton of trouble killing that scion, even on casual. so replaying that fight didn't make me happy, and it did stay in my mind.

I love this, so much.
It doesn't hurt anybody's canon if he's suddenly available for mSheps. I'm sick of people not wanting to get gay on them and trying to force homosexuals back in the closet. No, you don't have to agree with someone's lifestyle, but you can sure as hell treat them like the human being that they are. Most gays and/or bisexual people aren't "in your face" about it unless they're outright attacked. I'm not part of the LBGT community, but the sheer inhumanity that these people are constantly faced with poisons my soul.
And do people honestly think that he's suddenly going to be some sort of cutsey twinkle-toes? No. He's Kaidan, that guy that snapped a turian's neck with a kick when he was 16. He's the same man who has strong convictions of right and wrong, the same man that treats everyone with decency and respect.
And I love this, so much.

Anyone have a video link to this? For the fshep I mean. I thought I'd picked all the dialogue options but I've never had him say this to me. I always thought it was a great line between Kaidan and mshep.

No matter what the intentions, it's canon that Kaidan says the same deep thing to ManShep as he does to FemShep who we know for sure he has some feelings forjeweledleah wrote...

I agree. I'm all for s.s. But bad writing is bad writing. If it's not well written or meaningful, it shouldn't be in there.and to reiterate. Kaidan being avaialbel for male shep is not my issue, as much as how. which is why I'm waiting for the game to come out to find out.
No one who is against the idea has succesfully convinced me that making Kaidan s.s or bi is an ANY way a deviation or change from what was established before. Again, we are confusing our words. Omissions are not ret-cons. Those ideas are not interchangeable as people see fit.minor changes i made to how events happend in real game.
call it a failing. meh.
