Hah! thanks! I'm loving all the blue eyed Sheps in demo screencaps. Maybe its the new uniforms and the future-Vancouver setting, but they really pop.

Exactly. Btw, I think it's equally idiotic when ANYONE has to say "I'm gay" not because I don't wanna hear it. But because it's almost a ritual people expect of gay people so we can decide how we think of them and where to put them in our headspace.
Straight people don't say "I'm straight" (unless they're confused).
Well said. Same goes for saying "I'm bisexual".

You're setting a different parameter than I am here. I'm thinking of a theoretical situation where an NPC who only previously romanced a PC of the same gender was later opened up to the opposite gender. It's not a question of openly saying "I'm X/Y/Z," just a question of what they'd been known to do up to that point. But, really, we have a way to go before we'd ever get to that situation, as I already pointed out! We haven't had an exclusively gay romance in a Bioware game yet. (I gather one is happening with a new character in ME3, but that's not really on-topic for the Kaidan thread.) Anyway, my point was that if that happened I'd imagine S/S romance fans upset about "converting" a gay character, maybe saying "you [i.e. opposite sex romance fans] already have lots of romances, can't you just leave this one character to us?" But, again, as I said before, there is no such ME character, so it's only an imagined metaphor...SolidBeast wrote...

That seems like a fairly good parallel and I appreciate the generosity inherent in the answer and the attitude. Thanks! It helps me feel a bit better.IsaacShep wrote...
You have a point, however, if this series had 5 or so gay guys to romance for male Shep, and not a single girl to romance for straight man Shep players, I would have zero problems sharing one of them, even if it wasn't until part 3 that one of these guys is revealed to be bi. Furthermore, as much as I may have not liked it, if none of these 'gay' guys was clearly established as NOT liking women at all, I wouldn't really have an argument to complain. If something isn't told, it doesn't mean it's not there. Writing (in everything, movies, books, comics, games) depends constantly on new information beign provided, old info being viewed in new light.

I half wonder if he can troll some people wearing his old Cerberus uniform. (and the armor) or will the Cerberus symbol just conspiciously vanish.![]()

Haha, my husband and I have been married for 6 1/2 years and from day one people have been asking when we're going to start having kids. While we would love to start (getting pregnant is not as easy for some people), we enjoy the "freedom" that we have right now. We're both gamers, and I love being able to get on xbox whenever I want to play whatever game I want.

Irrelevant since having romanced someone =/= having only feelings for that gender. In other words, just because Kaidan only romanced femShep up to now, does not mean he wasn't bisexual the entire time.

Plus when you don't tell someone you don't like nuts you get food made with nuts and if you're a pig like me and it's covered in chocolate you don't realize it until it's too late. <_< Then you're stuck heaving with a dry throat for the next 6 hours.

It'd be even funnier if Shepard snuck up behind Joker in the whole getup-- the music is building suspense, a deep cello note or something. Then Joker just turns in his chair and says "Hey Shepard!"Ryzaki wrote...

I totally head canon'd my Shep using that armor for the trolling factor in ME2. (even if I never used it in game). Snuck up behind Joker wearing it and everything. XD
Rene's such a damn troll.
So much truth! I tell people not to put dairy on my crap because it makes me nauseus and crampy and bloated. It's ugly. I just hold my belly and sweat until it wears away. But people-- including waiters will just assume I say no "dairy" cuz I'm watching my weight. I suppose the people who add nuts to everything have the same excuse. They think they're being kind and getting us to loosen up a little. FUUUdstrawberrygirl wrote...

YES! Damn those hidden allergens - I had no food issues til about 6 or 7 years ago, then developed a milk protein allergy, and also seems I have allergies to peanuts and almonds now tooI always carry an epipen when I'm at a restaurant, and get so tired of having to explain these things to table staff who then bring out the pizza I ordered WITHOUT cheese only to find it covered in blasted cheese. GRR. Fools.
I really, really miss cheese.
At least I have now become much more creative in the kitchen, and I lost heaps of weight too.

Ugh I was just thinking, what happens if bioware do a terrible, Harry potter like epilogue. Where Shep marries his LI and live happily ever after, calling his kids after people who died.
