Another thing is, there wasn't even a chance or context in ME1 for Kaidan to express interest in men. There was no strip club with half-naked Drells/human males in ME1 for Kaidan to comment on "the views" (like there was Chora's Den with female dancers). There was no one to tell a story about a hot daddy Drell/human male in a sexy outfit making young employees on Noveria all horny for Kaidan to comment on that it sounds like something from an extranet fetish site he watches (like there was Lorik and his story about Benezia in sexy pinstriped outfit). There was no sexy new Drell/human male joining the Normandy crew for Kaidan to respond to Shep that he's "easy on the eyes" when Shep asks him for an opinion on the new crew member (like there was sexy new Liara joining the crew). There's no option for Shep to talk about humanity having beautiful men for Kaidan to comment that in such case, there's no reason for aliens no to like mShep (like there is a with FemShep talking about beautiful women).Estelindis wrote...
You would not find it politically incorrect for a character who had previously only shown romantic interest in characters of the same sex to be written later on as showing interest in both sexes, and neither would Isaac.
So really, the only chance for Kaidan to do it is with mShep out of blue, but then he's written to assume that both Sheps are straight (which is not unrealistic thing to write character with considering that 95% of people are straight). Such assumption ain't something that creates any kind of potential barrier or problem with FemShep since in case of a woman being (assumed to be) straight, it means he's "compatible" with her thus flirting attempts don't seem pointless. Neither he has to go around trying to find out if FemShep likes his gender, he already assumed she does. Totally different with mShep.

Ouch. Yes that just always makes me tear up. That and the US ending where Alistair looks down at the Warden and his voice when he goes "You shall be missed."
LOL

Oh god, and the one part with that ending where he says something along the lines of "I thought we were going to be together forever" about the Warden to all the people gathered.Ryzaki wrote...

someone ripped the TLK files from the demo?
I heard some info could be found in it so I ripped it myself but it's confusing as hell. I'm sure others will sort it out before I can make any sense of it. I did read some minor spoilers, though.

Liara was persistent. The trick is to stick with the middle options, even if they seem more douche-y than the typical Paragon top option. She gets the idea eventually.
Argh, I played KOTOR2 ages ago (I actually think I was about 13 or 14 years old) and I fell in love with Atton (dat voice). KOTOR2 was the first RPG I ever played and Atton was my first ever fangirl crush when every other girl in my classes were getting into celebrities and the like.
I know this pic was the background on my huge brick phone for a while:

Consarnit I need to find me a copy of KOTOR2 again!![]()
She was! Just wouldn't stop coming! Thankfully I know that trick now but still poor poor renedouche.![]()

I feel a need to replay KOTOR2 now.ZehnWaters wrote...
Love Atton! Man, though, talk about a game with Cut Content! Atton even died during one of them after getting sliced up by Darth Sion. Pretty morbid stuff. Game was still awesome.
You mean this?
There's another version that I like better where it has the Darth Vader death scene music in the background instead of the incredibly un-sympathetic Malachor music.

@Zehn: I kind of like the unapologetic music. Felt more raw and bitter that way. Like the world would keep on moving not giving a damn that he was dead.

The line that gets me is if Alistair sacrifices himself, "Sanest thing I've ever done." DA:O could be a real tearjerker, I'm hoping ME3 can end on happy notes for certain endings

I know! The whole Dark Ritual thing, I thought I was clever saying no to Morrigan. Then Alistair did that I was nearly sobbing in front of my whole family.LadyofRivendell wrote...

To alleviate my boredom I'm going back thru ME2 and replaying and completing some of my acheivements... that should kill like 2 days.. then i'll be the fourth head banger...
on a side note.. I tried to do an omni tool attk in my game.. didnt turn out well for anybody

Dang, I really need to get farther in KotOR. The only thing stopping me from playing is the fact that after ever bout of combat, my character freezes in spot and I have to save and reload. I already had to disable cutscenes just to play, so I feel like I'm missing a good bit of the game right there. That, and I've read a few posts around BSN implying that Carth's romance has a less than desirable ending? Arg, I know the game is probably top notch when it comes to story and characters, the only trouble is actually playing it

I've only played Arrival once so forgive me if there was some dialogue in the DLC that I missed. But for all intents and purposes...no one, other than Hackett and the Normandy crew, knows that it was Shepard that blew up the relay, right?
