Wow, Is all that from the OP confirmed by Bioware to be true? Just not much of the party has been revealed (except Garrus on a wallpaper on the ME3 site XD).

It all sounds very cool .

With Kaidan's roll in ME3?

Yes its been confirmed by Bioware that the Virmire survivor will be a squad member (so that will either be Ashley or Kaidan depending on who was saved), the VS has become a spectre by the time the events of ME3 starts up, if you had a relationship with Kaidan in ME1, you will be able to continue it in ME3 but choices you made in ME2 will have an impact on it (i.e. whether you stayed loyal or cheated w/ a squad member in ME2).

Also, if you saw the game play demo Bioware gave at E3, if Kaidan is the VS he will be on the Normandy helping to evacuate you off Earth. (Ashley's part from what we sat in the demo).

That sounds very cool , I hope they give us some more wallpapers of the party members .

 I'm so happy that Kaidan will be back as a squadmate in ME3. :wub:While the Horizon event left me quite dumbfounded and "what?!", I am eagerly waiting for the reward Bioware has promised. Hope that the romance plot line will rival great romance novel and film! It will be EPIC. Has to be. It is the last Mass Effect game. 
I read on gaming sites that VS will return as Spectres. While that is great for humanity, personally I am quite jealous at that Shepard is no longer the only human Spectre in the whole galaxy. And also for the fact that Kaidan is now higher rank. And also angry what he called my Shepard... at her face. (Understandable, but still hurts being called a traitor when my Shepard have served the Alliance faithfully!Urgh!) 
So soooooo excited for ME3. And it comes out on March, my b-day month. So yay!!! Greatest birthday present! So when the game comes out and I start playing to finish my Shepard's story, I think I want to play her as angry and jealous as possible, but also want the romance to continue. Hmm. *sigh* I am soo ready for Kaidan Alenko to be my Shepard's Mr. Darcy....<3

I seem to remember reading something about more humans joining the Spectres after the Battle of the Citadel... not sure if it's fan speculation or the real deal. If it makes you feel better though, Shepard was the first human Spectre. Nobody can top that!

I agree with you with the whole traitor thing. It was quite hurtful on my Shepard. :<

Exactly ^.^ Shepard will always be the first human Spectre. And I don't think Kaidan outranks Shep, does he? They're both commanders in ME3, no?

I think they are the same rank. Shepard is still a commander and Kaidan went from Lieutenant Alenko to Commander Alenko

Kaidan is one rank higher then Shepard even if you don't count spectrehood. Shepard was lieutenant commander before events of ME2, Kaidan gets promoted to staff commander sometimes before events of ME2.

Ash also seems to have gotten a commission and jumped another rank between ME2 and ME3, so Kaidan may very well have made Captain... or Major. Alliance ranks can be confounding.
