I'm feeling old - I must have missed one of these Facebook things, what's all this about missions? Do I have to sign up for another random app that wants to post on my wall or can I get away with just playing without giving all my personal details to a third party and spamming my non-gamer friends?

I'm not surprised that it was Sheploo with Ashley, though I was pleased to at least see a VS in the trailer. I am, however, sick to death of this "Let's kill a child for maximum drama!" approach to trailers that started with Dead Island (I'm also not pleased with it in the demo). It's emotionally manipulative and extremely triggering. When I play a game like Mass Effect I'm prepared to watch soldiers and adult civilians die. It's a safe assumption with a sci-fi shooter RPG. But kill a 10-year-old kid on my screen and I'm going to be a sobbing mess because a) it's not a standard element of the genre, so I'm not ready for it; and I had to watch it happen in real life and don't appreciate it being sprung on me in my entertainment for shock value. There are ways to show war without stooping so low. ME1 & 2 did that just fine.

In Kaidan news, I'm getting confused over the Spectre thing. The official website only mentions his special ops command (Ash's profile is the same, military service and nothing else), but the Facebook app directly references being a Spectre. So... Does the council make the VS a Spectre when you reach the Citadel? Of course, neither source of information can even spell his name correctly, so I'm hedging my bets for now.

I now have 2 femsheps that romanced Kaidan. Quinn who is mostly paragon and my renegon Octavia.

Picking the renegade romance lines in ME1 where pretty funny at times. This is Octavia and Kaidan (I think I'm going to have her go for Garrus in 2 (never done that romance and it fits her)

I haven't tried MP yet. I'm on PC and having trouble getting used to combat in single player. Don't want to be a burden on a team until I'm feeling more competent on my own! I definitely won't touch MP until I've completed a full SP game (probably going to take my canon Shep for a tester, then play her again later for the canon run). I have no doubt there will be trolls just waiting to scream endgame spoilers within the first day.

Good question. Maybe I'll play MP in the middle/end of ME3. But I'm not sure.

Wow, thanks!!!

I'm glad Ash got some screen time.  I'm a supporter of the VS getting some love, whether its Kaidan or Ashley.  And we did get a lot of Kaidan in the femshep trailer.  It's good that she got some love too.  She looks great!

I love that part in the scene, it's such a lovely and tasteful shot. That little smile Kaidan does and the rest of it  just sums up their relationship perfectly.

I will be absent from multi player when to whole game is released. Probably at least 2 weeks and a few play throughs.

Of course the new trailer is MShep.

I kinda liked seeing Ashley in the Take Earth Back trailer because even though I like her very much I've always let her die on Virmire so I could save Kaidan.
