I HATE husks! I'm not afraid of them, I just find them annoying. My soldier took Thane and Jack with her to pick up the Reaper IFF. They took care of every single husk with Throw and Shockwave. At the end of that mission where you have to shoot the orb thingy, I, literally, just dedicated myself to shooting the thing with no worries of the husks getting me.
I would take husks over phantoms ANY day of the week. Now that we have our new and improved melee attacks, I don't think the husks will be as bad as phantoms. I will just beat them to death. I literally want to wet my pants when I spot a phantom on the field. Yesterday
Kromify was playing as a Krogan and managed to melee a phantom to death. Even as a Vanguard I don't have the cajones to do that. I can think of some incredibly deliciously painful levels for MP. They should have a level with not only the grenade throwing mooks, but tons of nemesis characters, phantoms, guardians, those darn engineers setting up turrets everywhere. and at least three Atlases coming from different directions. On a brand new, unfamiliar map. That sounds both fun and terrifying at the same time.
I had Kaidan by my side for all of ME1, but I am afraid I will come across some enemy situation where it would just make strategic sense to leave him behind. I wouldn't do so on my first playthrough, but during my insanity run, I will just have to wait and see.
