lets just take a moment to think of the poor PS3 players, not only do they not get ME1, but the whole big exclusive bonus item they get for preordering the digital version on ME3 is only a PSN theme.

This is why I am spending my tax return (which I really should save) getting my Xbox fixed. PS3 ME3= the shaft.

I don't really think I'm getting shafted. I mean, I've pre-ordered the physical copy of the CE so it doesn't bother me at all 

Still the marketing/promotions/exclusives leave much to be desired. Everything is pretty much Xbox centric. Damn BioWare deals with Xbox.

I still haven't played a match with any Kaidanites. Trippid sent me an invite the very first time I logged in, but I hadn't even made a character to begin try playing let alone figured out how anything worked. I'm still dropping into random quickmatches with random people. I'm also still terrified that I suck because I play a human adept and always wind up listed last at the end of every match with only maybe two little medal things.

I do manage not to die more than maybe once or twice though unless we have a TPK.

Yes.  This popped up a few nights ago.  And wow.   I think that Bioware is addressing some of her concerns with their "Story Mode" (just as their doing the same with the opposite crowd with their "Action Mode"). I applaud Bioware for trying to find a balance for their very diverse players.  I personally want both, but I can understand valuing one more than the other.  The response from gamers though is just mind boggling and very deeply saddening.

I only killed him in my full on renegade playthrough, and the only way I got through it was to just ignore him the whole time.  Even then I was so sad when I chose Ash.

I had a similar experience. I was just joking and yeah, maybe flirting a bit with Garrus, because c'mon he is like my best friend in the galaxy and Shepard needed some laughs. Then when he answere something like "let's try to make this work, sure" and Shepard looked at him in that way, I ran to the cabin to check if the photo was still there xD Luckly it was.
By the way, is there some official explanation about the Kaidan's pic that Anderson has on his desk? Just curious xD

Even my male Renegade Shepard killed Ashely to be honest, I just can't stand her xenophobic attitude. I'm sad for her family and everything, but Kaidan still seemed like the most logical choice and he was anyway more a friend than Ash for my Shepard. 

Speaking of books, I read someone mentioned "The First Law" trilogy. It is really good, especially if you like Martin you won't be disappointed. And on a side note I didn't like much A Dance with Dragons, on many levels.

Hehe that was me! Feel free to hop into any of our matches though, I think I speak for most of us when I say it's great fun even when we have no clue what we're doing 

Also, does anyone get a chill down their spine during the CGI trailer when they show the Makos and Hammerheads for the first time? More than just the fact we get to see (our good friend ) the Mako again, but that the music that's playing there.. sound like a slight variation of Sarens' theme from Mass Effect 1.

I'm sure it could be coincidence.. but those three notes always struck a chord (pardon the pun) with me. 

I'm specifically talking about 2:21 from the trailer here.
And 1:48 - 1:56 from Sarens theme here.

It still has the imposing disposition of Saren.. Yet also a change in pitch to become perhaps more foreboding... Same threat we've always faced, only the encounter has changed.

I think the picture in Anderson's office was suppose to be whomever died on Virmire, but it didn't work out that way ingame...that, or it was a joke by the developers.  It's kind of funny how it was never patched out...

And high five for another Abercrombie fan!  I've decided to hitch my wagon to his star, because I'm enjoying the world of his books, and he doesn't take too long between new novels!    Best Served Cold and The Heroes were only a few years apart, and his next book is coming soon.

And on topic, I have never flirted in ME2, at all.  I ended up playing and finishing the game three times, with the same character, and other than exploring more renegade choices, this character has no interest in romance in ME2.  I consider Horizon a "break up", but I think it's possible to stay "faithful" even when on a break.  LOL, as the show Friends taught me, it still counts later on.

I really really really like the face from this angle. Oh my gosh, she's gorgeous! Any chance you'd share your face code? Or at least tell me which nose you used? I've had such a hard time making the noses work for my Sheps.

Well, I have do admit that I started with ME2,did 3-4 playthrough (don't remember exactly), then went to ME1 with...4 playthroughs. 
It took me one year to gain the strenght to import my choices in ME2 and start again. 
On Easy and skipping dialogues and scenes, it doesn't take much...I've just finished again a complete playthrough in 3-4 days. No idea how many hours,  it is relaxing and even a bit boring once you know by memory what to do and when to maximize paragon/renegade and so on...
Speaking of which, I really hope they go back to a ME1 style paragon/renegade score. The percentage counter of ME2 was a huge pain. To be honest the whole system forced me to metagame with the order of missions and play sometimes just to get the points...

The full trailer is super cool. When they showed a person turning into a husk, it was kinda creepy though. Which leads me to my next thought. I hate husks. I don't like them. I hate the IFF mission in ME2 because that reaper is crawling with them. I don't think I'll play husk mode in MP, I can't wait to overload a whole bunch of geth, but even with shockwave and/or throw field, I dunno if I can take em on. The only thing scarier is thresher maws appearing out of the ground in me1.

This headset chat has been super helpful. I'm considering getting a new one to replace the one that came with my system, and is questionable at best, so I appreciate the reviews.

And finally: OMG, I can't believe some of y'all love David Eddings, too! I didn't know anyone else had even read those. Seriously made my day. I'll have to check out some of the recommendations next time I need some books. North and South is working out pretty well for me so far, so I trust y'all's judgment.

Edit: Does anyone know who fuzzykiller is?  I keep getting xbox messages.

Stupid Stupid Origin... apparently it decided to loose itself on my computer...so i had to uninstall and reinstalling it now... hopefully friends list and everything still there....  


and it is.... thank goodness lol.... i've been having the worst ME luck with the pc since sunday...hoping it'll get fixed on friday.
