Well I'm missing something because I don't get how that can be taken as rude.

I read their comments as them taking it 'dirty' not 'rude' which would make more sense. Maybe that's what  they were going for?

Edit: Seems so judging from their clarifications.

It's my 18th Birthday today (yayayayay), so seeing that Raphael will be livestreaming tomorrow for questions on Kaidan, has definitely just made my day!

I actually can't wait!

Ah, yeah over here rude/dirty are interchangable, I didn't mean rude as in offensive.

I dont think they meant it like your being rude and insulting, i think she meant, evil, cruel, torture cause she would probably love to have Kaidan taking care of her

I just read through the comments of the FB announcement of the Livestream .... Really, I shouldn't have. How can people be so rude and attack the Voice Actor if the don't like the Character in a game? They haven't been taught any kind of manners? My mom always told me "If you don't have anything nice to say, shut your damn mouth!!" Well ... not exactly her words, but you know what I mean. I can't stand Tali, but I don't go out of my way to attack her fans or her VA ... seriously WTH

 Some of those comments are rather rude. But I did notice most people said they Virmire'd Kaiden, not Kaidan, so at least we don't have to worry about his evil twin turning up and ruining everything...

I still don't get some of the hate behind Kaidan. All I've seen has been catagorized by:

• HIs VA is the same as Carth from KOTOR and for whatever reason Carth = Flame War
• No personality (false!)
• Horizon (which I rather put the blame on the Devs and Writiers for because they're the ones who made Horizon play ou th way it did). I have massive respect for the devs though, without them ME wouldn't be so amazing.

well, I think it's just alot of young boys that are still feeling insecure about their sexuality. They still feel like they have to prove their "manliness".

Unfortunately, in this day and age we don't have enough...symbols, or concepts of what a real man is. An honorable man that is secure within himself, and thus ab le to accept others has they are.

They protest alot, methinks. Overcompensation for their fragile state of growth at this moment in their lives.

And I'm not trying to be snide. It ain't easy for young guys, either. There not nearly enough mentors out here. And the images of masculinity that are prevalent are OTT machismo stereotypes. These young guys are trying to find their way, and they Think that part of that definition includes denouncing all things that Seem..."squishy".

Still gets on my damn nerves, tho. But the more mature guys, emotionally and age wise, really don't care. They may not like his character, but they don't feel the need to go outta their way to shout about it. And others have GF that adore Kaidan, and these guys just think it's cute. It makes their woman happy, so it makes them happy.

so, yeah. I know tl;dr..but that's my 2 cents:P
