I have romanced all the guys (not a big Jacob fan though), and some of the gals in my playthroughs. I got four femsheps, one faithful to Kaidan (my canon and favorite romance), another for Garrus, another for Thane, and the last for Liara and faithful. I have three dudesheps, one for Jack, one for Tali, and the last is single, gay, and waiting for the right guy to come along.

hahahah ya we have some screws loose thats for sure! Enjoyed playing with you too! So much dirty smut talk about Kaidan lol!

 Ok...spent about 4 hours upgrading my computer. Finally about to finish up when I discover my CD/DVD drive isn't compatible with my motherboard . Now I have to get an adapter for it <_<.

Or a horrible distraction that leads to getting taken down by random assault trooper #237. You know, whichever.

I also see Garrus as brother. my shep protects him like a little brother, who makes mistakes.

I have always thought of him like this. My Shep is his mentor and sees a little of herself in him, and perhaps a sibling she lost on mindoir as well. I tried to romance him once for the achievement and the cute lines someone mentioned earlier that I had heard about but couldn't even start it. Shep did you have to come on so strong to him?

Anyways I had a great time playing MP with you guys. I was in the group that invited Satanic Pony earlier on Xbox as the mute Charons Danake. I really gotta get that cord.

The hotter the talk the more distraction there isand sometimes the kaidan chats are just downright steamy

This sums it up perfectly.  I love Garrus; he's the wise-cracking loyal sidekick and I will do everything I can to make sure he has a happy ending in ME3.  But he's definitely in the "friend zone" with my Shepard.

This is my 2nd straight night of missing out on MP because of school and I feel like I'm in withdrawal.

The more play-throughs I do, the less I like Garrus. He is such a puppy. He'll do whatever Shepard says. I also think his character development...well, what character development? He's exactly the same in both ME 1 & 2.

Okay, I had to quote this. I know I'll probably get backlash because it's not Kaidan related, and well, it's not romantic at all. So that might be my saving grace, but if you have any interest in a more fleshed out Garrus I'd strongly strongly strongly recommend Interregnum by the Naked Pen. (Set during Garrus' stint on Omega after Sheps death). It's extremely well written, to the point where I'd stake a claim that it's the best thing I have ever read.

I feel really dirty linking a Garrus fanfic in the Kaidan thread, but my problem with most Mass Effect fanfiction that involves Kaidan is that I don't like the Shepard being portrayed. Perhaps it's selfish of me, but I'd just prefer stories that don't involve Shep much, so I don't have to cringe everytime I disagree with her mindset/choices.
So... on that note, (and to cleanse me of my evil Garrus adoration :whistle:does not come close to Kaidan by the way!) I don't suppose anyone knows of any Kaidan fic that doesn't really involve Shep? I wouldn't mind it if it's set after Horizon or some such and Kaidan is pondering his current predicament surrounding Shep, but I've been having trouble finding something that doesn't involve a fleshed out Shepard as the main character.

Agree! That's exactly how it felt for me, Garrus just going along with it because it would make Shepard happy.
