So, this might be a dumb question or idea, but... Do you think Kaidan and Shep have a chance of getting married, or at least permanently bunking together before the end of ME3? I'd like to see some of those fan artworks come to life.

The most I'm expecting romance wise is Shepard and Kaidan confessing how they feel for each other. I'd love to see a proposal, but I doubt that'll happen. If it does, I'll be surprised. Marriage I don't see happening, unless its an Epilogue kind of thing ala DAO.

Am I in the minority in that I'd actually prefer the bolded? I dunno. I feel like any kind of "wedding" they could justify wouldn't be...realistic. Ya know? This is kind of a bloody war. I'd love, love, looooooove a proposal before the final battle (assuming there is one O_o) with an epilogue or simple reunion scene. Let the weddings stay in our own headcanon, in my opinon. I know my personal Shepard/Kaidan dynamic, the one in my head, they wouldn't get married before the galaxy is safe. Doesn't matter what happens during the game relationship-wise, but they would have more important things to worry about. Let the dust (and marriages) settle afterward.

But a proposal/promise to get it down afterward? I dunno, maybe it's just me; that just sounds so romantic. I can see them right before the final battle with some really sweet/borderline corny line like "don't die before you can make me a widow" from Shepard, or "promise you'll come back this time, I'm counting on retiring with you" plea from Kaidan.

Oh, now I'm in a tizzy. IS IT MARCH 6 YET.

As long as they don't pull a "Warden/Hawke" with Shepard, I'll be happy. And what I refer to is the Warden and Hawke disappearing with no one knowing where they went at the end of the game in the Epilogue<_<. If they do that with Shepard, I'll be p*ssed

Looking at BioWare's history I'd say that's exactly what's going to happen. Just wait until they make MaleShep canon, have the protagonist from the next ME title disappear together with Shep into the dark voids of space to search for the origins of the Reapers and Shep reappearing in the 3rd installment of the ME storyline (by now I consider ME, ME2, and ME3 as one story) to be killed like a punk by some random band of players in Mass Effect Online Republic.

When they did it in Origins I thought it was intriguing. Then when it was repeated in DA2 it was like "...really? There wasn't a different ending they could have put into this?" If they do it a 3rd time (and hopefully they won't since its a different team), I might give up on BW games. They makes awesome games but if all the endings end up that way, then...yeeeeeeeeaahhhh <_<

Played on silver with a random team. We actually kicked ass! And phantoms are no longer an issue for me with my lovely asari adept. The combination of one ME field, warp and some shooting is all it takes.

Morning thread!
I like all the ME romances, i've got sheps with everyone (well femsheps and all their options) though i've not chased samara or kelly with anyone. Kaidan's romance arc i just enjoy the most.

As to boycotting ME3 over dlc, hell no! I've preordered the dde version anyhow and im sure ill buy any and every dlc they release for it down the line. I love an excuse for another replay! I'm not really sure why everyone is ranting about this dlc, i mean if theyd released 3 months down the line people would've complained even more. I guess its a no-win situation.

Yeah, I felt this way too. It seemed more like... 'friends with benefits' thing than actual romance. Garrus is great character, he's awesome friend. I feel like he completely understands Shep (a least renegade one, I don't know how 'bout paragon). But romance? I don't think so.

I feel like he completely understands Shep (a least renegade one, I don't know how 'bout paragon). But romance? I don't think so. Throughout entire ME1 he didn't show any kind of interest in Shepard, besides friendly relationship. And in ME2 he's more like 'sex as a distraction' than 'I'm into you'. I think that's why I feel so awkward about his romance.

His romance could be really great and original.  He felt like older brother to Shepard and if this relationship turned into romance (actual romance) I could even betray Kaidan for him or at least consider it
