it doesnt make sense for it to land in the middle of a city, especially NYC, it would get run over by a car or land on a sky scraper. so there is hope.

Weather balloons are quite large. You don't have to worry about it getting run over by a car.

On a Kaidan related note... I would love it if he proposed to Shep in the game. Or if Shep could propose to him!

Looking at BioWare's history I'd say that's exactly what's going to happen. Just wait until they make MaleShep canon, have the protagonist from the next ME title disappear together with Shep into the dark voids of space to search for the origins of the Reapers and Shep reappearing in the 3rd installment of the ME storyline (by now I consider ME, ME2, and ME3 as one story) to be killed like a punk by some random band of players in Mass Effect Online Republic.

While I am with Crimson on this, I agree with Mechanlynx, knowing Bioware's history... let's see, KotOR, DA, DA2.  I am fully expecting Shepard to ride off into the sunset and leave her LI behind never to be seen or heard from again.  Or as Mechalynx said option B... I still haven't done any of those Flashpoints on TOR.  Oh and you forgot he'll be married to either Ash or Liara.

The heroes in KotOR, DA, and DA2 disappeared for a reason, though. Hero of Jade Empire doesn't disappear. This is supposed to be the end of Shepard's story, so if Shepard doesn't die, I don't think they'll be disappearing.

On that note, I can't wait to see what they're going to do with the Warden and Hawke and whoever else in the resolution to the underlying Dragon Age story. But I am a hopeful kind of person.

lol it's almost funny how desperate you get. almost.

uh and i don't want a wedding either, it just seems out of place to me when the world end ands and everyone's dying + can you really imagine manshep getting married with ash? i honestly can't

This was a really interesting read about the making of the femshep trailer.  It shows that they really did want to give us fangirls/boys glimpses of our LIs.

Hmm... Much as I love Alistair, I think a relationship with Kaidan just can't follow those paths for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the age difference. Kaidan isn't an 18(ish)-year-old virgin just learning to navigate a relationship with Shepard, so the awkwardness of their flirting comes from a really different place. If you hit up Youtube and watch the romance videos, most of the awkward disappears once they get past the whole "it's against regs, don't complicate the chain of command" thing and decide to give it a shot when they're on leave. While Alistair has trouble talking about his feelings because he's young and uncertain, Kaidan is reserved and trying not to move too fast (see: "That's what I lo-appreciate about you").

So what it boils down to is I think the Shenko relationship in ME3 is going to be two adults trying to communicate and make the right choices for themselves. It will be cute, it will be romantic, it will get "steamy." But I don't see a ton of public affection and awkward declarations. That isn't where this story has been going.

I WAS going to let my gold subscription expire today BUT they hit my with the $2 for 2 months deal!! How can I say no?? Grr. I might have to uninstall the demo coz I need to finish my femshep that I just started in ME!! 11 days! Yay

Hey, girls, you can live happily ever after without getting married ! And I absolutely DON'T imagine my femshep as a bride. She's too independant for that.
(Please note that I am not against marriage - I am myself married, and have 2 kids - but I'm just fed up to see girls dreaming of marriage as if it were the greatest accomplishment of a life...)

It may not work for your femShep, and that's fine; but some of us feel it'd be a logical end goal...and by "end goal," I don't mean "end of the game" goal, I mean "when the war is over and everything has settled" goal. The main point of the game is to defeat the Reapers - not get hitched. That said, if there's the opportunity to go "when all this is done, we should talk about it," what's wrong with that? Talking about marriage doesn't make femShep weak. It makes her human. Deciding that she never wants to get married makes her human, too. It's a personal decision and there's nothing that says an independent person can't be married or talk about it in a future sense.

I don't want some cheesy "get down on one knee and give a huge, eloquent speech" crap from Kaidan. My femShep wouldn't want that either. But what's wrong with, assuming they manage to work everything out before finally taking the Reapers on, going, "hey, if we make it through this we should talk about a commitment?"

I would like know if in mass effect 3, Kaidan talk his relation with the doctor  in Citadel, I hope he is not changed (sorry for my bad english) and we will have more choice dialogu with him ^^ He is my character favorite with also Alistair ^^
