Thanks for sharing those, Joisan!  There's so much gorgeous art there.  It would be nice if Bioware posts all of the images somewhere so we can get a good look.   IIRC, they said something about artwork being rotated in if there were too many to display all at once.  Maybe some that were left out will still show up.  I agree about "Outranked."  It's a lovely piece!  I think more disappointing than not having mine picked would be to discover that I somehow screwed up the technical aspect of submitting it.

Agreed. Sentinals are dead useful and if Kaidan has those three powers, I'd never let him out of my party.

Thank you for photographing Joisan, I'm somewhat... stunned to see that my picture actually is there.  o_O ( http://darantha.devi...t.com/#/d3o8tqo )   Did not think it'd get picked in a thousand years with all the other gorgeous art I know was sent in.

I want to replay ME1 now. Haven't done that in ages. I miss blasting stuff to pieces with Kaidan and Wrex.

With a soldier, I primarily level his biotics and his medicine.  Lift, Throw, and Neural Shock along with Barrier and lower level tech skills tend to give me all the backup support I need, while Shepard and Ashley soak up bullets.  Or I take Liara and Shepard soaks up bullets until Kaidan and Liara turn the room upside down.

With an adept, you might not need the biotics.  But biotic teams in ME1 tend to whip up rooms to the point where enemies are devastated.  (Although someone with an adept could probably offer better adept advice - Kaidan is versatile and fits all Sheps.)

Neural shock will stop any organic enemy in its tracks, charging krogan included.  Higher lift and throw, and Kaidan will do this without prompting:



Which will do everything from knock over a geth colossus to incapacitate Saren:

I haven't done insanity yet.  But will try it after I do a whole game on hardcore (practicing now with my soldier).
But Kaidan is versatile and very powerful after the beginning of the game--he was designed to complement any Shepard perfectly. 
I LOVE when he goes all blue and glowy. 
And he doens't just knock the Colossus down, he tosses them up in the air.  I love that.

oh, and don't worry, I quite enjoy the drawings myself and I'm glad that others do so, too
I won't stop just because they didn't end up on the wall for the fanart showcase

I was tinkering with the idea to ... is 'go meta' even the right expression?
basically draw Kaidan and mShep stalking Casey's twitter waiting for a confirmation of their gay romance and tweeting those pics to Casey ...
but I wouldn't want to represent our group in a bad light or anything ... or one that bothers him too much, though I wonder how many odd requests and questions he gets on twitter per day to begin with

Your art is wonderful, and whether or not it made the showcase, it's professional quality and I hope you'll be sharing it with us for a long time to come.

And I think that if it's done in a light-hearted, and not "scary stalker" way, your idea for a new drawing is great.  I'm sure Casey would appreciate the humor, since it has to be something that comes up ALL the time from fans.

Yes Criz make that one! Even if we don't get an answer, I think it will definitely be noticed if it directly involves Casey and he's a cool fella (so handsome mmm ) I think it will make him laugh and not creep at all or anything!
