The photo's there if you romanced him - it gets turned face down if you move on to someone else.

I knew if I cheated, it would go face down. When I found that out... I wanted to sob quietly . That would be the worst thing I could do in ME2. Luckily im a very loyal person, so Mr. Kaidan was my main man

Oh now I have an idea for a weekend project - make a frame for my Android tablet and set it to display pictures of Kaidan Hook in either the mic or the webcam for proximity detection and it would turn on and off automatically, but that sounds like a bit too much work!

I've never been able to cheat on Kai 
Not once.
It helps that I'm not really tempted by the ME2 options. I love Garrus but as a brother, I love Thane too but his memories of his wife were so beautiful I sort of wanted to leave him be. Jacob I avoid talking to... for obvious reasons.
Kaidan is forever my only option

I was sooooo careful in my ME2 playthroughs with Kaidan as my LI. I only talked with them when I knew it was their loyalty mission. other than that...cold shoulder! YOUR NOT NINJAMANCING THIS FEMSHEP!

My first ME2 PT with my renegade I cheated. It was in character for her but I felt so awful I've never been able to do it again.

I hate to miss anything about my squadmates so in my first playthrough I talked to all of them and agh my shep with Jacob was AGONISING. I could have handled it if he was coming on to her but she was flirting with him!

I got turned off by that romance as soon as he dumped me for being too nice to him.  His character is pretty interesting, but that ruined it for me.

Exactly! I wanted to ask him about his family and my Shep would suddenly go:"Are you marrieeeed, Mr Tayyyyylorrrr? Any wiiife waiiiting for youuu baaack home?' 'It's like I was forced to either romance or hate the guy.


(For the record I don't hate him, I just hate how his character and interaction was handled.)

I'm supposed to be finishing a playthrough for March 6 with a FemShep for Jacob. She's going for revenge sex. And then she'll let him get shot in the face on the SM. (Sorry Jacob, you're a nice guy, but I need to see how the Kaidan relationship plays out with a dead ME2 LI - totally metagaming) But I keep playing MP instead. I can't help it. It's so much fun!! So Sonja Shepard is still stuck in the maintenance shafts on the Citadel trying to defeat Sovereign. It's okay. I've still got plenty of time, right?
