Good work for Paint, though his head is a teensy bit too big for the body, as far as I can tell. Also the pics have opposite lighting , light's coming from the right in the main one and from the left in Kaidan's face. Just a few pointers for next time, no offence meant.

Like I said I did it with Paint (no photoshop). And it was a simple copy/paste thing for fun :P
I think there will be no next time for me, we have other talented girls/boys.

I know that this might not be able to be answered. But I really want to do a few playthroughs on ME2 and I have Genesis. Now if I do Genesis and keep Kaidan as VS (this is mostly for experimental reasons) Is this going to seriously impact a relationship with him?
I mean I can go through ME1 again.. but I can barely hold it together for a ME2 playthrough with release being so close and all.

I believe that if you do Genesis and save Kaidan, you still don't have a relationship with him, so it won't impact anything at all, as far as I know. The fireworks (that I'm personally looking forward to) only occur if you romance Kaidan, then go to another romance in ME2. I believe you can romance Kaidan if you have no romance active in ME3 (whether from breaking it off or just having none, I don't personally know).

Edit: Due to personal confusion. I shouldn't keep more than one thread open at once. :pinched:

Well, with Genesis you can choose who survives Virmire, and you chose your romance (Liara, Kaidan or no romance). So you can choose what type of relationship you have with him (friendship or romance).

I think he probably just cut ties with Shepard after that. It was pretty much a big "up yours" to Cerberus and TIM in general, especially that last conversation. And I enjoyed every second of it.

I was delighted when could finally Shep said what she thinks of The Illusive Man. And stealing Normandy from him was pure pleasure  But I don't think TIM would just let her go, accept his failure, and go after her only when the Reapers attack. it just doesn't feel like him.

they said there would be easter eggs in this video. i saw nothing, except that maybe america gets completely devistated in the reaper invasion.

That's an incredibly depressing sentiment.

Would it help if me and my American toddler come over.  Then you can sacrifice us to help solve all the evil in the world because it's clearly partially all our fault. Posted Image

wow i guess i didnt phrase that right:crying:. first, i'm from america so i obviously think we're the root of all evil. i'm sorry if my comment about america came out like like i'm saying its a good thing...?

idk i think of easter eggs as little hints,or little interesting factiods about the game.  obviously thats not the case lol i guess they're supposed to be good things, which america being completely destroyed is NOT! so you'll have to excuse me and my video game nube-ness... you and your toddler are completely safe from me! lol

I get the feeling from the way people said they buried the whole thing after she died that maybe she'd burned  some bridges/made un-friends with a chunk of the Alliance brass. The Shadow Broker isn't the only one with agents inside the Alliance brass, heck maybe TIM even has a direct sympathizer on that defense council! And the Council proper is sitting on a Reaper built & repaired station, I'm not the first to suggest they are mildly indoctrinated. No one listens to Shep, even after a Reaper comes and literally sits on their roof! (that line is so much more hilarious on an ME1 replay when you know that the exact thing is going to happen:lol: )

/ME universe conspiracy theories LOL

March 6, y u no here yet? I need to make more trolololol faces at TIM & the Council & the Alliance bosses that aren't Hackett or Anderson AND my Sheps could really use some Kaidan 'therapy' if you know what I'm saying ....

So, heads up, this is a super depressing topic, but it came up in another character thread and it got me wondering. If you had to sacrifice Kaidan in order to save a race or gain the loyalty of a race, would you do it? Would you have any moral/emotional qualms about it? I honestly don't know if I'd be able to.

Aw, crap. Please tell me this isn't in the game.

I don't think I'm willing to sacrifice Kaidan. I would rather play Multiplayer than lose him.

I'm not sacrificing any of my squaddies for anyone.  Different story if I have to pick between Kaidan and one of them though.

Edit:   Which btw will make me REALLY mad if they used that scenario again.  <_<

I'm sorry, but I still maintain that we've already been here over our LI once.  There are certain others that haven't had to make that choice yet ... Liara fans - I'm looking at you. The Talimancers haven't had to choose either although their romance hasn't been as developed as either ours or the Liara crowd's.

So, I'd be really disappointed if our feet are held to the fire all over again and they get off.

Well, I'm so glad I have this page bookmarked on my iPod. It's the only way I can keep up. :) Catching up...

@ Virmire: As much as I'd like to have at least one playthrough with Ash in it, I can never justify saving her, unfortunately. Setting the romance aside, Kaidan is the superior officer and one of the few fully functional L2 biotics. He is an asset to the Alliance...something that is touched upon in ME3. And by this I mean that he's given a role in ME3 where he leads a group of biotics whereas Ashley is given nothing. Also, it almost seemed to me like Ash was ready to die - to sacrifice herself in order to clean the Williams' name once and for all.

On a related note, the first time I played, I sent Kaidan with Kirrahe and his men thinking this was the only way to save the salarians, but they actually survive every time no matter who you send with them (assuming you do everything to save them as you're going around the base). Makes me wonder where Ash was whenever I sent her with them and they survived...

@ leather dress: Wtf? Seriously? I like the strapless version that someone, I think yoshibb, posted up. I thought the animations for male and female Shepard were gonna change. She still looks so awkward in that still of her walking.

@ madlily: Love your Sheps! I was so curious about them after you were gushing on mp yesterday. :)

@ live action trailer: At first I didn't know if that was the trailer or not, lol. I think it gave us a different perspective of the Reaper war - the innocent lives that are being lost and what they're going through. It was very interesting.

And, my God, it's almost game time!! I'm so excited!!! :D

I don't think that Kirrahe survives every time though.

Some of the Salarians do, but I don't think that Kirrahe does. I think I only managed to actually save him once on all my playthroughs, and I'm not even sure if that's one of the four that made it through ME2 for me.

I am going to play through ME1 and ME2 one more time before ME3 releases even if it kills me. The hard part is going to be deciding whether or not to romance Kaidan or leave him alone so that I can see how/if a relationship develops in game 3.

The only flaw in my plan is that I can't stop myself from firing up Origin juuuuuust to see who's on. :P

Oh, and btw - thank you Avorous, Demarco and Gareth for some awesome gaming over the last couple of weeks. I have a blast with you all and hope that we can continue to make it a regular thing come game-time.

I think Kirrahe survives because he's leading a different distraction team. Like all the salarians with Ash/Kaidan happen to die, but the rest survive because Joker manages to pick them up? Maybe.

@live-action trailer: one of those little flammable canisters from Arrival shows up at about 0:17. That's the only one I caught.

@The US burning. If all of North America is burning, you've got us Canadians and the Mexicans burning with you. Solidarity? (Would prefer if it happened to none of us, but what can you do). Also in-Universe, it's the United North American something-or-other. So we're all in this together. Burning. The future kinda sucks.

I'm fighting to get through ME2 one last time before release, hence why I am trying to keep Origin offline, I LOVE multiplayer but I have to be ready for release, and I don't have a lot of spare time... I honestly don't know how people can play through so fast, I have about 6 more loyalty missions, scanning, side quests, then there's IFF and all the rest to get through. And then there's Firewalker, Shadow Broker and Arrival... gah, need clones!

North America burning! :(
I haven't seen the new trailer yet but I remember the very first trailer way back in London. That was super depressing for me :crying: Sure I live in the country but.... all my favourite shops! Forbidden planet!

Also I need advice!
I finally finished my ME1/2 playthrough for my first ME3 game complete with lotsb and arrival dlc and I'm suffering withdrawal already. Should I start another ME1 playthrough to try a different path with Kaidan? Either non-romanced or cheated on? (if I can bear it lol)
halp.
