Re: Buying a hoody
I bought one when they first came out (before the fancy N7 pattern inside the hood and the velcro enclosure, etc -- this was just a simple zip-up hoody). The women version wasn't out yet. I got a large in men's size and it definitely fit me like a boyfriend's jacket, a teeny bit too large. I noticed the female version was better sized (stops at the waist), but I just want to say that I wear my men's hoody a LOT. I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of it and I just really enjoy wearing the N7 hoody so I have no regrets about buying one (even though I hesitated at the price -- I rarely buy stuff for myself so I felt I could splurge on this one thing). And the one good thing about men's size? It keeps my butt warm in the cold, lol. It really does. =D
And it's how I discovered that my brother also played Mass Effect. He went crazy when he saw me wearing it and said, NO WAY, you play the game? We compared notes for the rest of the evening and I bought a hoody for him for his birthday. (I knew I got "best sister of the year award" just for doing that. He wears it all the time, too. =p)
It washes well. The paint on the arm stripe is thick, has not cracked at all for me (if that was a concern), and holds up well. I have never put it in the dryer so do that at your own risk.
