It has now inspired me to go back to Mass Effect 1 and start up a playthrough.  I will romance the hell out of Kaiden.  But before that I will ask him where he is keeping the Geth and has he found any hiding on the Normandy?

There's one in the AI Core, in ME2.

The choices you made in ME2 will impact what happens in ME3. Plus there are factors and certain criteria in ME3 you will need to achieve to have the "best" ending. I'm not going to say "Happy" ending because, from what I saw each ending will have something happen that will most likely anger people no matter what.

Yeah, I've read some pretty disheartening things.  Lets just say as
someone who has constantly given BioWare the benefit of the doubt that
if what I've read is truly how the game ends I will be highly
disappointed and pretty p*sed off to say the least.

Do it. I have one and I love it!  It is warm. The only complaint I have about it is the velcro. If you aren't careful it can catch on the N7 and possibly snag it. I've been really careful with mine but my husband has snag his on it. Just so you know.

Honestly, the game is out in 7 days, all of this is just rumours. I wouldn't judge anything said until I have the game in hand and I've played it with all of it's different endings.

Heartbreak or not, this is war in the Mass Effect Universe and Shepard is its saviour. A happy ending is where the Galaxy survives with or without Shepard. He/She may or may not live to love or has loved and loss but the universe still keeps spinning and the reapers are dead.

ALthough, I really want my Kaidan to not suffer through another heartbreak, if possible. If not, I'm ignoring the end and writing fanfics until my feels are righted. BioWare does love their bittersweet endings.

 Hey folks.  I won a ticket to a Mass Effect 3 launch party that's on tomorrow, where I'll get to play part of the game.    If I see any special Kaidan deliciousness that isn't spoilerish, I'll be sure to post it.  

Now, the question only remains: will this be a console version?    I'm solely a PC gamer, and if it's PS or XBox I won't know how to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity...    I've just never really used a console controller at all!

I was hoping you weren't going to say that.    All I can hope for is that bioware releases some DLC after the fact to rectify this.

I just dont want a repeat of DA:O where I had no clue about "hardening" Alistair. You guys can guess what went down. *shakes fist* Even worse was that I didnt know I wouldnt be able to presuade him at all at the final end.

I got the ultimate revenge in that game of DA:O though. I didn't harden Alistair, and didn't have any saves in convenient points, so my mage got dumped. I made sure that Ali married Anora, got far enough in Zev's romance to break his heart too, made sure there was no dark bargain, and sacrificed myself on top of the tower. If I can't be happy ... ain't no one gonna be happy! This is the character who's my avatar.
