If the information that people are panicking over come to be true, ME3 will probably be my last Bioware game.

Mass Effect is the first games series that has had this big of an impact on me. Seriously, it's a beautiful form of artwork that has gone beyond any other game I've seen or played. It's amazing how the team has created a story that makes you come to care so much for people that are, in reality, just a bunch of pixels. But to end such a story on such a bittersweet and depressing note....eh, I can't bring myself to justify it.

Maybe that's just me though.

I put two or three audiofiles together to make a little playlist conversation between FemShep and Kaidan, and I.... It's so beautiful! BRB, crying sappy tears of sappiness. :crying:

A happy ending is either ending with the status quo, or something better than the status quo, not something weird.

I'm not by any means expecting things to end with Rainbows and bunnies. Really, they just had to tweak 1 thing and it would have left a majority of the fanbase more content.

I've heard/read so many things about the ending -- I'm not sure what's true and what's not but there is a theme here (I won't go into it because spoilers are not liked in this place)....IF any of this info is for real...I have to give it up to Bioware...A lot of it seems "realistic" and I can appreciate it.

I just want a satisfied feeling at the end, like all of this mess was worth it. So I'm hoping for some happiness. But based on what I've heard, I think that will happen, the happiness I mean.

I just need this game already, like yesterday. lol

It's not from ME1, that was my bad. It's from ME3. And for those who want, there is stuff (including audio) to be found in this new group made by syllogi to discuss some things that might spoil anyone on this thread.

I've been hearing a lot of rumours surrounding the leaked endings, I'm a little nervous at peoples obvious despair Posted Image...I am however purposefully avoiding details...not just because I want to be surprised but also because, well I guess it would make some sense how the endings would be leaked considering, but it seems to me that likelyhood of ALL possible endings being leaked in complete final draft detail at this point...is unlikely, unless they were officially announced by Bioware (which they wouldn't be, as that would be the biggest spoiler of them all) or by people who've played the game....and I find it impossible that people could play the game and see all possible ME3 endings within this time frame. I do remember hearing that some of the info was found in the script or something? And wasn't that script oldish? Things either may have been changed, and also, it may not have been the whole script. And didn't I also hear that there was a 'secret' ending that hasn't even been leaked? I just don't think we can truly know 100% for sure that there isn't at least ONE possible, mostly happy ending for us until we play the game or some we truly trust plays the game fully before we do...I don't know, I'm just trying to be hopeful...I can deal with a lot of the possible endings possibly being depressing and sad, but it just wouldn't make sense for there not to be at least ONE semi-happy ending....right? Absolutely. Some of the files made me cry. :wub:

ME3 is going to be awesome (or at least the Kaidan parts). :wizard:

@SilverMoon Just keep clinging to hope. I won't give up until I read the game guide on release day and discover stuff for myself. :kissing:

*Spoilers* I've been following this ending drama and while it looks like the endings are legitimate with files and pictures to prove it, there is nothing on the actual crash of the Normandy. People suggesting that the Normandy started a colony might be incorrect and there's a chance that they are still in the solar system since they don't seem all that worried when they come out of the ship (I'd be freaking out if I were stranded with no escape). Plus the epilogue with the grandfather is always the same even if the Normandy crew died, so no babymakers means no colony. I'm clinging to anything right now and while it still makes no sense that Shep is alone, the Normandy is near Pluto, and the Citadel is now next to Earth, it's at least a better chance at a reunion and a happily ever after. *Spoilers*

poor Shepard that got the devs middle finger....so much for FemShep's campaign...
I guess that I'm going to digest my anger and I'll try to enjoy the game the best I can...but I find that doubtful, because I'm really passionate about ME, specially the relationship between Kaidan and Shepard....(if you haven't noticed that yet...LOL)

I swear that I'll do my best for not going onto a fierce rampage against the game DVDS....

If you're talking about the audio file, I had to download WinZip to get at it. After I extracted it, I was able to listen to it in Windows media player, or iTunes.
