I've only seen the final one (I think it was the final one) and I'm gonna say, "Uh, hell yes!"

I do not think he will ever compare to Kaidan - Cortez's relationship will never have anything on the flame my femShep's burning for Kaidan - but it does look like lots of love and care went into him as a character. As I've stated before, he actually makes me want to create a new Shep just for him.

Domino is Kaidan's woman, but doesn't hurt to have the love of another and an extra pair of eyes..

The cortez vid made me laugh, when he drags sheploo off to dance i was screaming in my head 'Nooooooooo dont doooo it! That pilot will run away screaming if he sees your godawful moves, make an excuse quick!'

Ahem, however he looks like being an interesting character, not sure if id bother with the romance myself, but thats cos i have about 25 femsheps and only one manshep who i still havent got more than halfway through me2 with yet (also hes for jack). So yeah, im an addict to hales VA.

Seriously. Even if the endings sucks and everything, this trilogy will still be such an incredible journey it doesn't matter!

 Watching the Cortez vid made me uncomfortable and I usually get uncomfortable around any romantic scene when it feels that the director wasn't 100% sure of what he was doing. Just sayin... 
Strangely I never got that feeling around the DAO romances or the ME/ME2. Mainly i just squeed . Except Jacob, but that's because Jen Hale's voice in those scenes creeped the hell out of me. Serously, she sounded like a date rapist  

But then it was severely out of context and I had no build up to the .. eh.. climax of the Cortez relashionship.

So how is everyone else passing the next few days? I've seen a few people on MP, some playing Halo or Fable, and a few replaying Mass Effect 1&2 and DA. I'm doing a quick insanity run through of ME1 to get that achievement (finally). But I'm using a character that's already leveled up to 60 so I'm not doing any side missions. Just the main missions and the Kaidan dialogue. I needed a Kaidan fix and I'm trying REALLY hard not to listen to that leaked dialogue, even though I downloaded it and read through it months ago.

My hubby and I are having family over this weekend, so that'll make Saturday and Sunday go by faster, but Monday and Tuesday are gonna draaaaaag (I'm picking up the game Tuesday afternoon after work and pulling an all nighter - have Wednesday off ).

I'll still need to finish my canon Shep's run through ME2, but I'm not too worried about it since I'll be playing ME3 with my tester Shep first and she's good to go.

I've read the Kaidan romance already, but I haven't listened to the audio file (other than the file Bekka posted - needed to hear those few Kaidan lines to keep me going!). Ironically, I'm not finding it hard all at...refusing to listen to the complete romance audio file, I mean. It's just something I want to experience in the game, so it was easy for me not to click on that link.

I'll definitely be vising the forum (at least during the day, when I'm at work and no where near my xbox, lol). I really want to hear everyone else's experiences with the game, and I'm very curious as to how we all react to the Kaidan romance.   I won't post spoilers, though, but y'all can contact me through PM if you have any questions or just want to talk about the game.

Yea, I was thinking man, the endings are like what, the last 5 minutes of the game. While the game itself is like 25-30 hours? Sh*t lets do this...

Yeah, I'm slowly getting back to being ok.  I'm somewhere between the hope for a happier ending, and the acceptance of an unavoidable sad one.  And mixed somwhere in there is heartache at this being the last installment of a series that meant so much to me.  But seeing all these videos (I especially liked the Garrus pep talk in the launch trailer) is making me feel better about it all.

At this time I have finally went into the acceptance/slight depression mode, mediated slightly by the fact that there's always fan fiction. Also, I predict I will get some satisfaction from seeing BSN in flames in a few days. 

One good thing that came ot of this is that my overall negativity towards letting Shep get back with our fave biotic is gone with the wind. Knowing about the dire times ahead makes apologies and venting about who was at fault completely unnecessary. 

Seamy windows all over the Normandy! My Shep's gonna ruin the poor guy

Godd***it. I think I spotted Sidonis in that trailer around 1:12. And I let Garrus kill that MFer during the playthrough I'm using. And now I might need him for something. F***. Sorry for all the expletives.

No, if those are really the only possible endings, what happens is still a d*** move simply because there still seems to be no good reason for it other than to screw everyone over at the end.

Bittersweet endings work because you leave a shred of hope. There is no hope there only a slow, lingering end.

And if the the game itself is as good as the trailers make it look and as gripping, it will only make the inevitable that much more of a d*** move. Just because you can move on to the acceptance phase of grief doesn't mean that the original cause of that grief is any more just or right IMO. As has been pointed out, they only have to change one tiny detail to make this acceptable to almost everyone.
