Just popped in to share my latest commission from Aimo with fellow Kaidan fans in celebration of Mass Effect 3's upcoming release. Just in case there was no happy ending for Male Sheps and Kaidan, I had Aimo create one for me. This is of Sheploo and Kaidan's Commitment Ceremony with some Vega hijinks thrown in for comic relief.  (I also posted this on the "For The Love" thread but for convenience I'm including it here.)  Hope you like!

This is gorgeous. Aimo does fantastic work! The best news I've heard about this game all week is that Kaidan is FINALLY romanceable by male Shepards.

I have to say, fan artists have completely changed my opinion on Shenko weddings. I used to have no interest in having my Shepards marry Kaidan because I'm not a fan of storybook weddings (my own was a rather informal steampunk shindig at a railroad museum on Halloween). But this image and the one a few days back of Femshep and Kaidan have turned my thinking around. They're just so in love in these pictures. Consider me converted!

I had a lot of femSheps after ME1, but I dropped off the number after ME2. I now have four femSheps.

Kelly is my canon femSheps. She's a vanguard, so I'll learn to play the hard way.

Zaira is my adept femShep. She got radical plastic surgery thanks to Lazarus and wound up getting uglified.   I just wanted to tweak her hair a bit, and her entire face got obliterated! I think she'll be getting another facelift in ME3.

Jade is my infiltrator femShep. She taught me the joy of the sniper rifle, and while I designed her to look like a bad girl, she somehow wound up more paragon than the first two.

Ailian is my war hero soldier femShep. She's probably the easiest to play. Ironically, when I played her through Arrival and compared her to Hackett, she looks like she could be his daughter.  They both have gray eyes and long blade noses.

I'm not sure what order I'll play them in except to say that I will play Kelly first. That's an established tradition by now. And if the game really hooks me, I'm sure they'll all get NG+ games. I don't know if it'll be possible for the game to hook me enough to inspire me to slog all the way through ME2 again.

as far as i know, aslong as you do every sidemission you can and get your galatic readiness rating to the highest thats the best possible result anyone can have.

I don't want to have the worst ending either   ....if I somehow fail on getting the best possible ending on my first playthrough (for the first time, I want to play it through without knowing anything), I'll probably come sobbing to the forums asking you Kaidanites for help...I intend on being very thorough with my playthrough, more so than I was in the previous 2 games, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get the best ending...I hope *crosses fingers*

Anyway...LESS THAN FOUR DAYS UNTIL KAIDAN!!!!!!!!!!! *squeeeeeeeeee*

I'm not worried about avoiding the worst possible endings.  I think that's just a matter of playing to get your score up above the magic number. However, the ending where Shep can have a chance of living is supposed to be a bit trickier than just that, and if that's the best possible ending, then I am a bit worried about doing everything right there.

I'm going to be super upset if I find out that I have to go back and play a completionist game of ME2 in order to get it because that's the very last thing I want to do. I'll be even more upset if the only way to achiever it involves having all of the DLC because I never bought Kasumi because I didn't feel that she was necessary, so I'm playing with whatever BioWare feels the canon defaults for her will be.

This wait is killing me, now i keep seeing threads pop up about vpn and i must say im tempted, very tempted, i mean friday is a terrible day for me, i usually see my bf on a sat and that would mean id either totally ignore him or parrot on about mass effect mercilessly and that would just be mean! Right?

Just finished my insanity run through of ME and got my "Medal of Valor"! Incidentally, I also got the "First Aid Specialist" achievement during this run through (for using medigel so often). Boy that was fun. Can't wait for next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!
