Yeah he posted the link for the fish...



But I don't think the fish is that important. Like I mentioned in the other thread if the bonus from the fish ended up being Kai Leng's favorite cereal or in-game ME;Deception or Dietz appearing in the Citadel I don't care.

It seems that the Prima Guide is legit after all and a lot of people says that they're pretty accurate so we can have a glimmer of hope for another ending

The real hope is in the page that shows the NG+ gets an added ending.

Anyone else noticed in that picture that there is some text that says:

"At 5,000 Readiness Rating, if you choose to destroy.............and did not "save" Anderson, Shepard lives."



I wonder what that's all about...

Do you know what's sad, I just spent an hour going through all 8 mass effect playthroughs that I have, FOR A FREAKING FISH!!!! If this is fake I'm going to be really annoyed.

Yeah basically what I'm saying... the fish is probably just an easter egg/unimportant (although I'll have to see what kind of war assets it's going to contribute). But a lot of people who bought Prima Guides before say that they're pretty accurate... (I'm not sure since the last ones I bought are for games during the 90s) So I mean we can somehow believe in the NG+ ending right?

"save" - note the airquotes... still too vague to make up anything.

Nah don't take the fish too seriously lol... It's probably not that game breaking. I posted the discussion because the guy seems to have seen a legit copy of the Prima Guide (the thread ended up turning into massive fish jokes).

Instead believe in the glimmer of NG+ ending...

After you complete a first playthrough, you can play again as that same character and keep your level, powers and gear.

When you finish a play-through of a game one time, the NG+ allows you to start a new game using the same character you completed the first play-through with. However, this time you get the keep the current level you completed with, all weapons, and you're awarded some bonuses as well.

So if you finish ME3 and left off at level 45, you can start a new game using that Shepard and you can continue to level up to 60 and you get to keep all the weapons (and I think armor) you collected in the previously completed file.

Once you finish a playthorugh with a Shepard, you can have the option to replay that particular Shepard again in a new playthrough and in the case of ME and ME2, you get to keep your weapons and levels when you start the NG+

Actually, it was a good thing that I did go through with some of the older ones. I was missing armor and ships, from what hear those import as well. I MUst have all of my ships.

I know I'm going to have load all mine up and go flying around to buy fish. I may have to replay Arrival just to go buy fish. That'll be funny the first time or two I tell Hackett that I can't come back to Earth right away.

"Well, do whatever it is you have to do out here, Shepard, but when Earth calls, you be make sure you're ready with your dress blues on ...: "

"Yeah, so, there's this fish, Admiral, and I have some intel ..."

The kicker is that I'm an aquarium hobbyist in RL and I've successfully kept and bred some pretty rare and endangered species of fish, but I gave up on the d*** ME2 fish because I could never keep the little darlins' alive for any length of time.
