Once I'm done annoying myself with fish buying, I plan to try burying myself in SWTOR with my husband. I promised him that I'd play some with him, and we have characters stuck on Hoth. We also have a basketball game to watch, I've got laundry to do, groceries to shop for, all the main doors to our house need replacing so we'll start shopping for those ...

We were going to spend time with family doing some work to help clean out my folks' attic, but that fell through. Too bad, the hard, physical labor would have been just the thing to make time speed by.

It's been said that NG+ does have a secret ending. It's possible that the Paddlefish unlocks the intel, which could unlock the secret ending.

"A Secret Ending is also available to players who complete the game..."

Indicating that there is another ending we haven't found yet.

 ok, I might start backing out of the forums now:unsure:. A lot of people are starting post stuff from the games (mainly stuff from the VS) that I rather see for myself in the game.
The emails you get from Ash and Kaidan are now up.

Your first playthrough has you with your fish. You play to the end. After the credits, you'll get the "NG+". With the NG+, use the SAME shepard you just used so you have the same Paddlefish. Play the game once more, all the way to the end. The NG+ will appear again. Disregard that one. Your game will reload to the last save - the one before the final mission. Go to Liara then for the intel.

Not necessarily. We're all making the giant assumption that the secret ending is the happy one. It could just be a giant punk ending.

I don't buy it, they wouldn't even do a trilogy Achievement cause of new comers, those that switched platforms and PS3 users. I'd put money on the intel, literally being a codex-like entry from the Shadowbroker base with no following mission or story to it.

Honestly I don't think the fish have anything to do with it. All I am pointing out is the fact that there is a secret ending which it 'appears' to be unlocked through the NG+

See, the guide says "A secret ending is also available to players who complete the game-" and it cuts off in the photo. We do not know if NG+ causes the secret ending to occur or it's something else. As of now, all we know is that the Paddlefish is a very valuable war asset. Heck, it costs 7500 credits (or 6666 credits for a discount), which is 7000 more than the two other fish. Could it be the key to unlocking something?

Umm I think you just need to buy the fish from Illium in ME2 and make sure it survives until Liara supposedly unlock the intel for you in ME3 which should be easy since there is a fish feeder VI or something.

But lol sorry for posting the fish discussion thread, I was just trying to point out that when there was an earlier guy declaring that he had seen the Prima Guide and offering the potential NG+ ending nobody believed in him... since people seems to be sticking to Xio's statement that there is no NG+ ending. Was just trying to lift the gloom around that hype since now it seems that the Prima Guide is legit after all. (Personally I wouldn't mind the ending that much if not for Joker's supposed idiocy - the hype atm)

But I'm pretty sure the fish is not the key to unlocking the supposedly secret ending.

Ok so have some Kaidan please... Umm I mean get back to discussing Kaidan ok?!

Eh, I'd seen the fish discussion thread, so you didn't spoil anything for me, and I'd actually seen the thing about the fish from an earlier thread about war assets from much earlier.

And, I agree that the current crop of endings being discussed wouldn't be horrible if it weren't for that one little detail ... I'm sure we're on the same page on that one.
