Im getting very depressed at the moment for all the leaks. Girls it really doesn't look good. Im about ready to cancel my pre-order and wait. I don't want to waste my money on a bummer of a game. Regardless of how much I loved the previouse ones. If theres light at the end of the tunnel.Please enlighten me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thus far the only light we've got at the end of the tunnel is a picture of the Prima Guide saying there is a secret ending in the NG+ (we think it's partially cut off in the picture)  However it does specifically state that there is a secret ending to the game.

A lot of Kaidan along the way? A ton of Shenko fluff? (Yes I have been spoiled by the endings already... Kaidan fluff is keeping me from cancelling)

There is still some hope for a few reasons. There is an ending that no one has seen. There is also a first day patch that may alter some of what we think we know now. Also, some of the early reviews just don't seem to match with some of the spoilers, but you never know what critics will like.

And, if nothing else, it looks like there will be some serious fan service for the LI crowd even if the endings are all awful. So, have some Kaidan and live for that?

 i read the emails if thats what you mean. I thought they were sweet . Those are probably going to be my last spoilers though. At the rate they are coming up on the forums, we'll practically know they whole game before Monday

I am trying very hard to keep my hope alive, the pics of the guide is helping. I know that I will get the game and I will play it at least once, most likely twice with the information we have now. However, if everything is as it currently is, and nothing can be done about it (ie the NG+ thing in the guide is wrong for some reason) I won't play it again, my ME head canon will end after ME and I will never buy another Bioware game as long as I live.

I'm going into partial denial about the endings. After listening to the audio files, it doesn't make sense to me that the devs would end the game separating Shepard from the crew and the LI. If thats how it ends though, I already made up my mind with what I'm going to do with my Shepard.

Amen !!!! I was let down with DA2 now this . Never again Bioware. And word of mouth will hurt were it counts ,their pockets!

I won't go that far, but I can guarantee that from now on I'll be waiting fro reviews from people I trust rather than pre-ordering their next title. Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment though.

Its going to go from the most anticipated game of the year to the biggest let down. I wouldn't want a game I made to go from one extreme to the other.

Mass Effect actually made me have a change of heart when it came to my college major. I was going for costume design, but after experiencing the ME franchise I made the decision to go back to traditional art, more specifically drawing, and pursue Concept Design.

I was actually hoping to work with Bioware one day. They know how to make games, I'll give them that. Kind of hurts though that they would send off this franchise in such a bitter way (if they're true).

I'm about with you there. Although I'd say no more EA in all likelihood. Between what they've done to The Sims and what it seems they're doing to Mass Effect, I'm pretty well disillusioned with the direction they seem to be taking every game they own.

I guess what has me so bummed is that 1 I pre - orded as soon as they announced the game. 2 I've just had myself so hypted up for it for so long. Like a sugar rush you crash and burn.

Feel exactly the same.  I was more hyped for this game than I was for TOR, and I am a HUGE SW Nerd.  I am keeping my flicker of hope alive, it's all I can do.

what did they do to The Sims? I've played The Sims 3 for a while (up to Late Night xpan). Haven't touched it in a year though.

They keep adding expansions without fixing the things the previous expansion broke, so it's very hard to keep your game working without resorting to third party mods.

Then, with the most recent expansion (also releasing on March 6), they decided to add social features to the game. Our personal pages on the website now operate like Facebook only without many options to filter the spam coming in from our various friends. Every time your Sim does something in game it's pretty much spammed to your wall and to your friends' walls and to the friends of your friends walls. Instead of making things more social, it's been irritating and people are defriending each other to stop the spam.

All of this is in preparation for Showtime where we will now be expected to send our Sims out to our friends' games to perform. We will be paying full price for an expansion in which a full third of the items will be locked away until we achieve so many performances in other games and host an equal number of performances for others' Sims in our own games. So, while you can choose not to use the social features and share you Sims with others and vice versa, you voluntarily give up having access to about 1/3 of the items of the in the EP you still pay full price for.

You also now have in game chat and features that will spam you with notices telling when any of your friends are playing and anytime they make any in-game achievement because you really always wanted to know when their Sims burned food or uclogged a toilet because it wasn't exciting enough when your own did it.

The thing is, instead of adding these social notices and features via the expansion, they've been adding them via patches and updates where you would expect them to be fixing the many bugs they still haven't fixed. So, no matter what, even if you don't buy Showtime, you still will be getting them.

So, instead of a nice little single player sandbox, The Sims is now being trended more towards a Zynga-style social experience. But, the CEO of EA has pretty much gone on record as saying that all the games they make will include social style play from now on which is where I think the ME3 MP came from, too.
