Well my copy is a digital version, so ive already preloaded it and the dlc. Then all i need is a vpn for korea, which unlocks the game on monday and off i go! Well only on the single player but that works for me!

In the same boat as you.  I'm getting a CE Tuesday from Amazon.  Even got a game guide - something I've never done before (why spend money when the internet has everything I need).  Was also super excited, but now not so much.  Not even seeing lots of Kaidan, being a BAMF who takes down the Reapers, and having an end to this journey are persuading me to play.

I'm all about my headcannon cause I value my sanity. lol Truth is, I got so involved in this game that I have to have something to hold onto. I escape into this world. With regard to the ending of the game, we're still not certain about anything until we get the game and play it ourselves but considering what we've heard, the end MAY or may (we don't know) not be exactly what many wanted. I have to say I don't know if I ever truly expected a happy HAPPY ending (probably in part due to my other hobby, anime and asian drama watching -- endings are either super happy or downright tragic, no in between lol) but I digress.
I think I prefer poignant realism with that bit of passion thrown in. I think we might get that.

And...I'm still hoping there's a super happy ending somewhere too though. I've not lost hope yet.

I was thinking of getting the digital download for PC as well. I have it pre-ordered on Amazon actually....but I've never done that before, so I wasn't sure.....

MP isn't needed to get the better ending, it just helps make it easier. If you want to for-go MP and stick to SP only, its still possible to get the "best" ending. You just have to do pretty much 100% of the side missions.

I would put money on an expansion of some sort, they did it with Awakenings, they can charge more for it than DLC but still turn it out quickly. It would let the devs get away with telling us to not believe everything we read yet not necessarily contradict the spoilers and leaks so far. I'm sure one of the devs said at some point when a fan suggested content set after game reuniting hero with LI that it sounded like a good idea (hopefully someone else knows what I'm talking about). All of the games companies are trying to make the as much money as possible but DLC is pissing customers off, this is a compromise many would live with.

I don't think I'm going to touch the game right away. I wanna know whats legit and what information has been misinterpreted/faked.

Once I get back home from the midnight launch, I'm reading through the guide first and taking notes along with it. I'll make my call on whether or not I want to play it afterwards.

Wow I'm really suprised at people not wanting to play the game at all, the ending (if all true) sucks but I didn't think it was that bad. It's not how I would have wanted it to go but I consider it at least plausible all things considered.

The reason I like BW games is the character interaction, what will everyone play instead? There aren't any other games IMO that even come close to the same level of depth in their relationships. I'm genuinely curious to all you folk who are swearing off BW games what will you play and what do you hope to get from them? If there are some games that have similar aspects I want to know because I'm missing out!

I got all my anger out days ago. Bioware keeps insisting the fans are wrong so I'm going to give them a chance by playing the game. If it's still as bad as I think, I will join the rage party that no doubt will take over the forums and hopefully we can get some dlc or something. I'm happy for story mode though cause, playing games with a broken hand is not fun.

im not expecting a happy ending, just not loads of depressing blight endings

That's been my philosophy this whole time.  I've seen some spoilers, but I'll only believe it when I play it for myself.

I think one of the ending reminds me of kingdom hearts game ending
where the protagonist got seperated and got stranded in the middle of nowhere

dunno just hope its not like that <_<
