They only saw the Collector Base blow up or pulsate. There wasn't much to go off with that, so there wasn't a lot of anger. It wasn't until they played the game that they saw there was additional in-game scenes after the base. They can't look at in-game files, so no one knew. The only person to tell people about what happens at the cinematic endings is the guy with the space edition. He's shown pictures, but is there more? We really don't know. They're basing it all off his words. They don't understand, however, that ANYONE can simply lie on the net.

I think the thing with me is that this is the final game, no more mass effect...at least with shepard and the characters we've grown to love. I know it's and epic battle and we're loose peeps.. and i'm fine with that...if you know what i mean... i just want the send off to be fitting . I'm not sure i would have cared about the ME2 stuff if i'd known then... i didn't get hooked til after it was out and i played it then went back for 1 and did it all over again

No, I don't remember it being this bad then. It was known that you were doing a suicide mission and that it was supposed to be hard to bring everyone back alive. It was known that most of the ME1 squaddies weren't going to be there. I remember people being angry that certain characters weren't returning - Wrex, Liara and VS. But I don't remember there being this much anger over the possibility of death at the end.

But then, this isn't exactly anger over the possibility of death that most people are upset over is it?

The devs then said they had to keep VS survivor alive as they had a big roll to play. Many people continued to flame most people agreed to wait and see.  Then LotSB got released VS fans went mental again, it's not fair, we've been ignored etc etc. it all blew over again, VS was confirmed as a LI in ME3, everyone was happy for a while, now this.

Comes in cycles, will blow over again, people will still buy BW games in the end will all be ok

To be fair, Horizon was kind of a kick in the balls and if we didn't complain like we did, I don't think Kaidan would've had this big a role in ME3.

Honestly I just can't wait to see my Shepard in game, and back in action. Poor things has been hanging out in her cabin next to the comp terminal and Kaidan pic for like 2 years...off and on.

I can't wait to see my Peeps! Kaidan, of course. Wow. It's been a long time. Jack; Wrex; Miri; Tali and Garrus. Jokah!. All of them. I love my peeps. My squaddies. All of them. Going thru hell together has a tendency to bond you w/ ppl.

...yeah...I'm still excited, regardless of what may come. It's been a great ride.

I don't think that the forums were that bad before ME2 came out except for some idiot spoiling the bit about the collectors. It did not ruin it for me but I wanted to find that out in-game. As for the endings, I am optimistic and I will just see for myself on Tuesday.

Hell people were complainting about not hostlering a the guns,  about the helmets and other stuff.

See I think a good ending would be  most of the Normandy squadmates and crew are alive, and about half of the humans and other speices are alive, and the Normandy is damage, and the Reapers are destory.
But we won't for sure about the ending until the game comes out.
