I went to the Virmire Survivor in ME3: Spoiler Discussion group and couldn't find the endings... good, bad, or otherwise. Can somone pm me where to look please and thanks? I originally didn't want to be spolied, but I give up... I need to know.
Just go to the ME Story Forum where spoilers are allowed. You can find plenty of discussion about the endings there.

No, we don't know for sure. We're just being negative nancies.
They could put it back in. The day 1 patch is 260 mb. Awfully big for a few bug fixes.
because 260MB its big enough to be a small DLC intead of patch
dunno jst hope for the best

We're not sure. People who have spoiled themselves with the leaked endings say "They're real. Deal with it". But their sources are an ex-tester from BioWare and a user who played the Space Edition. It's possible that BioWare purposely left out content in the Space Edition copies to ensure not everything gets spoiled. Although people with Space Editions signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), NDAs are very hard to enforce AND it's not worth taking someone to court for it (you get hefty fines). It's possible that there are hidden files within the game that cannot be unlocked unless you download the patch. Maybe the Paddlefish is the key to get the secret ending. Why else would we spend 7500 credits on it and then beat the game 3 times just for an additional codex entry?darksoulenigma wrote...

BioWare's smart. They really do listen to their fans. IF these leaked endings are the real and only endings, I'm sure there will be a massive amount of backlash. So they may patch in a new ending or releasing a DLC that adds endings (that's not post-game. Additional endings would be considered as "in-game").
Had I said this in the Endings Thread, I would have been called a denier and harassed.
EDIT: grammatical errors.
I wasn't on the boards before Mass Effect 2. Was it like this then as well?

With ME2, the game was leaked a month before its release date. A lot of people did the same thing as they did with ME3: ripped the files and looked through the pre-rendered files. They only saw the Collector Base blow up or pulsate. There wasn't much to go off with that, so there wasn't a lot of anger. It wasn't until they played the game that they saw there was additional in-game scenes after the base. They can't look at in-game files, so no one knew. The only person to tell people about what happens at the cinematic endings is the guy with the space edition. He's shown pictures, but is there more? We really don't know. They're basing it all off his words. They don't understand, however, that ANYONE can simply lie on the net.darksoulenigma wrote...

No, I don't remember it being this bad then. It was known that you were doing a suicide mission and that it was supposed to be hard to bring everyone back alive. It was known that most of the ME1 squaddies weren't going to be there. I remember people being angry that certain characters weren't returning - Wrex, Liara and VS. But I don't remember there being this much anger over the possibility of death at the end.
But then, this isn't exactly anger over the possibility of death that most people are upset over is it?

It wasn't quite this bad, we found out that VS only had a cameo appearance and the board went up in flames, everyone was swearing that they'd never play ME2 or any BW game ever again *rolls eyes* it's always more or less the same just in varying degrees.
The devs then said they had to keep VS survivor alive as they had a big roll to play. Many people continued to flame most people agreed to wait and see. Then LotSB got released VS fans went mental again, it's not fair, we've been ignored etc etc. it all blew over again, VS was confirmed as a LI in ME3, everyone was happy for a while, now this.
Comes in cycles, will blow over again, people will still buy BW games in the end will all be ok
Same happened with DA, I've been on the boards a loooong time, with varying degrees of involvement but around a while, it happens all the time.

To be fair, Horizon was kind of a kick in the balls and if we didn't complain like we did, I don't think Kaidan would've had this big a role in ME3.

I can't wait to see my Peeps! Kaidan, of course. Wow. It's been a long time. Jack; Wrex; Miri; Tali and Garrus. Jokah!. All of them. I love my peeps. My squaddies. All of them. Going thru hell together has a tendency to bond you w/ ppl.
...yeah...I'm still excited, regardless of what may come. It's been a great ride.

Hell people were complainting about not hostlering a the guns, about the helmets and other stuff.
See I think a good ending would be most of the Normandy squadmates and crew are alive, and about half of the humans and other speices are alive, and the Normandy is damage, and the Reapers are destory.
But we won't for sure about the ending until the game comes out.
