Major Kaidan Alenko in ME3: We're going to need a bigger boot.

Thanks for answering. I was just curious to know if history was repeating itself in any way as far as spoilers go but of course ME3 is completely different from ME2. This is the conclusion, so....it's a whole new experience.

Please don't misunderstand, I was über pissed at the time and voiced it as vehemently as the next person but I think you over estimate the input we have on the Bioware devs. I believe it was the one and only Casey Hudson who said they had a direction in mind for the VS from the start, sure they may tweak things based on fan input but I don't think they've done a sudden 360. Of course just my opinion

Also Kaidan needs to stop taking rockets to the face. I appreciate that he wants to impress me with his machoness but I kind of need my squadmates to kill some people this ME run as I spend a lot of time hiding behind boxes D:

The worst part was when I was facing Benezia and the stupid Asari

LOL! I love that, it's all that happens to me, too. And you have to lie there all like "HURRDURRDURR" with this box lifting and some Asari shooting your butt while Kaid and Ash take a nap. *sulks*yoshibb wrote...

Heh, Benezia wasn't nearly as bad as the stupid timed thing with the insane Rachni that comes later on (or it does for me because I don't do that part first).
Panic mode always kicks in and I always get shredded by those stupid Rachni three or four times even on my high level Vanguards. Lots of cussing always ensues.

With the fight against Benezia, and they started the box..."Noooooo!"
And then one time I got glitched in the box some kinda way. I was just getting shot at left and right. And couldn't do anything. Kaidan and Liara were dead...yes, yes they were.
My first run thru on that took me so many reloads. And then yaya! it's over!...No, it's not....Aaaaah.
Oh, and running thru the field of Rachni. It was awful. And sometimes my squaddies would die, but I had just had to leave them. I figured they'll come back once I hit the elevator. I couldn't believe that was so hard.
I laready know w/ ME3 I'm gonna screw up so bad the first run thru..or thru's. Because I always do. It's hard when you first start out.

When importing a Mass Effect 2 character into Mass Effect 3, the character will be brought forward exactly as it was left off. A level 30 character in Mass Effect 2 that is imported into Mass Effect 3 will retain its level and abilities, and can immediately start working toward the new level cap of 60.[3] Any credits or resources that an imported character had in Mass Effect 2 will be reset in Mass Effect 3.[4]
New players will be given an approximation of what they would have had at the conclusion of Mass Effect 2.[5]
Collectibles and Upgrades Edit
Model ships and pet fish the player bought in Mass Effect 2 will not be transferred to Mass Effect 3; however, the player will be able to re-purchase the model ships and fish.[6]
In terms of gameplay upgrades, only the primary ship upgrades for the Normandy SR-2 (Heavy Ship Armor, Multicore Shielding, and Thanix Cannon) will transfer to Mass Effect 3. Other gameplay upgrades such as research upgrades will not transfer.[7]
Apparently fish don't matter, or you have to buy them until ME3.

The roof, for some reason, was worse for me. All those little buggers, 2 big guys , and nowhere to run. Like others said, you make a run for it and it's good.

I found this on the Mass effect wiki under save file transfer. It could be wrong but, it seemed like it could be true so I posted it. It also had key choices and out comes but the post was long enough already.Elegana wrote...

I could have sworn there was a tweet by preston w. that said your ships will transfer over...but where they are is what you have to determine..dun, dun, dun, dun.
But as long as I can get them again. I'm strangely attached to those things.
As far as abilities, I almost thought abt. switching class from soldier to adept.
Inthe MP I got to exp. the adept and I was really liking it. But when I went back to the ME3 actual demo...it was not doiung it for me. Soldier worked much better for me.
Also I know that if you switch class in ME3, you'll start out as a noob lvl..as far as class ability. I think that's what I heard.
So, Idk if it's worth it to me to switch class.
Thnx! That was great and Non Spoilery:wizard:

Yeah, I was pissed too. I wasn't so much mad that Horizon was all we got, but I was mad that the convo was so poorly played out. It really felt like two entirely different people than Shep and Kaidan honestly, and it was terribly frustrating to pick options from the wheel and have something come out of Shep's mouth that bore no real resemblence to what I picked from the wheel.
The "I was in coma for two years" option came out on the dialogue sounding nothing like that at all.
I'm honestly still steamed about the way Horizon was handled honestly.
