I remember those days.  I had to work at Best Buy for about a year in between jobs, and while most people were very nice there was always at least one person (usually male) that would come in and treat me like I was an idiot because of where I worked...I guess it doesn't help that I look like I'm around 19 (I'll be 27 in July).  In those cases I'd just technobabble them into submission while killing them with kindness. :innocent:

I just ignored them whilst being nice, but the comment was just like ARGH. If I wasnt working I'm sure my hulk mode would have activated. My colleague just made a face like

Not my fault that the job climate is pooh and my degree just hasnt helped at all *damn ye lord o designo*

I'm 24 and look 18 aswell, everyone laughs at me for being one of the oldest there.

Anyway, that track was wonderful! Made me all weepy so it worked.

As for the romance theme, that song is aces!  The piano was beautiful on its own, but when the strings came in...I am positively slayed.  Can't wait to hear the rest of the soundtrack.

Agreed, and I'm hoping for a really nice post-romance scene. I swear though, if he yells "Joker is waiting for you on the bridge," there better be some kind of renegade interrupt option.

Oh, gawd, I remember those days too. I did a two year stint at Target after my husband got his big professional corporate break.

The ones I hated were the snotty rich housewives who would come in during the middle of the afternoon and treat you like you had to be a moron because you were working there, and all the while, they'd betray their own stupidity with every little thing they did or said.

All the while, you're biting your tongue wanting to light into them and read them them the riot act about how you actually have your degree and are just stuck working retail because your husband got his break before you did, and you're working this job to help make ends meet while you wait for your professional break to come along instead of being a bored, cynical housewife who has nothing better to do than sneer at someone she thinks is beneath her.

I do know that I've never been able to be rude to a salesclerk since those days. Retail is a hard, thankless job and too many people just don't appreciate that.

I like Chopped better. My husbad and I always try guessing what we'd do with the mystery ingredients to see how close we come to what they actually do, but then, we've been watching food network for quite a few years.

Cupcake Wars isn't as bad, but we're not as good at baking as we are at free-style cooking.

Hi guys!! Yay 2 days! Quick question, I always play ME & ME2 on Insanity (love to shoot shoot shoot and the challenge of playing adept on that level lol), my question is do you get more experience points playing on that level (sorry for the n00b question heh) but I'm trying to finish another run and I don't think I'll have enough time to finish..so I was thinking of playing on hardcore.
