Hey everyone, I finally downloaded Origin but I haven't played the demo yet because I've been overseas and now Uni is back on!! Anyway, I was hoping the Kaidanites in this forum could add me if they have origin as well so that I can play with you guys when I finally get ME3!!

My husband begged me to do a ME2 run for him because he just cant manage to do a Paragon Shep. I watched him play and somehow he managed to have Zaeed and Miranda unloyal, so I had to tell him how to keep them alive during the SM. They survived but he still wants a run with everyone loyal. So I broke down and started the game for him. He just gave me a few pointers: Paragon runthrough, loyal to ashley and blow up geth. Hmmm. Wonder if he will enjoy his new Shepards name? Let me introduce to you: Kaidan Shepard Have to leave my touch somewhere, heh

If you choose to skip playing MP as a whole, you can still get a score high enough for the best ending to happen but it heavily depends on making the right choices at major plot points and doing EVERY SINGLE side mission there is in the game.

 

WHOA! That's a heck lot. Ok maybe now I'm kinda glad that I will be getting the game on the 9th-14th so people can test out what they need from the SP (by now I'm pretty spoiler proof). But seriously 1 mistake in your choices from all 3 games or have a mission "ran out of time" and poof... you're doneeeee..... yikes... wonder if this "best" ending is even worth it *frowns*

Still wondering if those people with the game early might not have been able to unlock this ending but if it is then damn... what is going to happen when MP is not popular anymore...? SP is obtainable but that sounds really hard.

If it comes to that, if the "best" ending is worth it. I guess I'm gonna put that $10 from Amazon and get a 3 month Gold subscription or something ><

You can change a ME1 Shepard's name in ME2?

Yeah, he didnt want me to import his ME1 Shep because he was renegade and now he wants a paragon shep but doesnt want to do the work and play ME1 again. I told him he can still get full paragon even if he was renegade in ME1. I guess he wants to see other outcomes seeing as he always killed the rachni and council. So I had to make a whole new one, because as much as I love that man. I will NOT play through ME1 again for a while. Nope not gonna happen.

I wanted a mShep ready for ME3, but could not face doing ME1 again - I totally hate the MAKO and forget which planets I have visited for side quests.  So just downloaded a Level 60 save, choose a character with Kaidan alive too, but whom had romanced Liara - I was going to pick one with Ashley alive but meh!

Good morning Kaidanites! One more day 'til launch! I'm so excited!

After 10 days of playing I finally finished my Paragon Sheploo Infiltrator run on Insanity! I 100%'ed it too, doing every. single. mission. 90 hours total play time by the end of it all LOL. I love the Suicide Mission, it's always so intense. Everyone survived. :] My Shep didn't romance anyone though, but you all know who my Shep is going for in ME3! This will be the first Shep I import and play in 3. Can't wait to reunite with Kaidan.

It was also the first time I finished ME2 on Insanity, so I finally unlocked the Insanity trophy! (as well as the platinum trophy for unlocking all other trophies! [yes I have the ps3 version!]) It felt so rewarding... I owe my success to Tactical Cloak.

btw is anyone going to a Gamestop for their midnight release party? I heard from a GameStop manager from the Vegas Space launch that they're going to raffle off prizes.

It didn't convert a couple of things for my Shep - but it was just hair and skin tone. Might save you some time

I tried it, but I can't get it to upload the files from my computer to their website to generate the preliminary codes.  Oh, well, I have to kill slightly more than 11 hours before my game unlocks tonight.

I'm a proofreader by trade. A little tediousness doesn't scare me.  Thanks for the suggestion though. I'm sure it'll help some others.

PS - Yeah, I really do proofread, but I don't really take pains to make my internet stuff perfect or police others. The 'nets are informal.

@Cruce - Very nice tribute vid. Love the look of your ME2 Shep, btw. Modded? She's very pretty.

@Sbarge in Pearl Harbor - he does look good in that uniform! And as former military, I can tell you that's one helluva salute he popped at the end of his scene.

Love that even though he was so much younger then, you can still hear Kaidan in that voice.

as mass effect 3 is nearly here. what are peoples shepard called and what are their history?
mine is called Mokona Shepard. and i went for the depressing back story, colonist and sole survivor.
i named her after the adorable mokona modoki


though in my head, kaidan calls shepard 'Moko'

Kelly is an earthborn sole survivor. She's always been the gritty, get the job done sort. And in my head canon, she has an antique sawn-off shottie mounted on her wall. It was her very first shotgun when she was still a gang-banger on the streets.

Jade is an earthborn war hero. She's a Jessica rabbit type. She looks bad, but she's really not.

Ailian is a colonist war hero. I wish I'd made her a spacer because when I looked at her - facial structure, nose size and shape and eye color - with Adm. Hackett after Arrival, I thought she looked like she could be his daughter. Maybe she is his daughter via shore leave hyjinks in head canon ... who knows? She's my soldier.

Zaira is a colonist sole survivor. She might be the meanest of my crew, and she's the adept. She also got hit with an ugly stick thanks to Lazarus messing with her face.

It wont let me post here till the 9th now. I assume its the same for other UK/European Kaidanites. Unless it's a random glitch, says I'm not allowed. Think I need to have ME3 registered.
