I will also say thank God I romanced Kaidan. Garrus is the only other romance with any happiness for straight femshep. Thane's is just unbelievably sad but Jacob... omg what the hell is that??

Hey guys! *waves*

I got the bug when talking to Liara's dad too.  It freaked me out as well when my femshep said Liara was "her girl", but it didn't affect anything when I raced to talk to Kaidan, so I didn't have to backload. I think in future playthroughs, I may just avoid that conversation unless they fix it, since it's a total WTF moment for all my femsheps. Some of them aren't even friends with Liara...

I haven't fully cried yet, but I've had several teary-eyed moments while playing, and I'm about 17 hours into the story. I'm sure when I finally get to the end, I will lose it.

Time for more ME3!

After the first quarian mission I think. You'll get an email about it. Also got friend dates with Garrus and Liara which were adorable.

Finding Vega incredibly distracting so far. Its like he's constantly mugging for the camera. Can pixels even do that??

I'd heard long ago that he's not gonna be an official romance. Sort of like Kelly, maybe. I'm not too broken up about it.

It seems to me that straight femshep got the middle finger in ME3 if she doesn't romance Kaidan. He is the only "new" romance option, which seems unfair, since everyone else got two choices (or more). We also get a giant F you on our ME2 romances (except for Garrus).

I did have Jacob romance save but after accidentally spoil myself about what happen in ME3 with Jacob romance I have make it my last playthrough. (Garrus->Kaidan->Thane->Jacob) <_<

Kaidan from ME1 to the rest of the series is not the same person. I think FemShep got a middle finger on Mars, as well. At least the Garrus and Thane romances are honest.

I am really unhappy, but did not expect them to treat Kaidan the way he was originally written. My poor main Shepard will be single and alone in this game.

spoiler highlight: Thane dies and Jacob impregnates another woman no matter what. There is no love from Jacob, Shepard was basically his booty call. It's just wow... I would kick him in the balls if I had a romance with him

Yeah the Thane and Jacob thing ticked off a lot of people who read the script. Femshep kind of got shafted on romance options, but there's still Kaidan, so I'm good :3

Yeah, it really happens. Jacob's all "BUT YOU DIDN'T CALL, THE PRIIIIZE WENT TO ANOTHERRRR" excuse. Like being in prison was a rejection from Shep so he screwed someone else and he stayed with her. It's all BS. Glad I avoided Jacob.

Why? Because he (rightfully) doubted her? Didn't fall right into "lets get back together"? It makes sense that he'd have to question, they had no contact the 2 years she was dead, and Horizon knocked Shep off the pedestal he had her on.

I mean if someone I loved is dead for 2 years, returns and for all outward appearances and intel is working with Public Enemy #1 Terrorist Club, and has who knows what implanted into them, I sure wouldn't be without trust issues and doubts when we get thrown back together in a life or death, trust or die, situation so why should Kaidan?

I thought they pulled it off well. He got to air his doubts and mistrust, and FINALLY Shep gets to SAY something, then they move forward. Kinda like real life.

You can go on the date with Kaidan before the quarian mission, too. I just did mine and I haven't been to the Perseus Veil yet.

Even if you were romancing him and was always nice to him and all? ._. I can't believe it. I don't understand why would they dob it? What's the point? Isn't it enough that he's not a popular character? they also now want him to be hated?  Ehh, I play mShep so it doesn't really concern my Shep really, but still, there are quite a few FemSheps who love Jacob.

Kaidan's romance I think is the most honest and believable out of all the options out there for Shep. They really injected a lot of realism for it and I'm glad. I'd be disapointed if he was willing to jump back in Shep's bed after a half arsed explanation on her/his end and you really have to work to get him back, and I'm sure Shep deserves that lay when she/he gets it. So does Kaidan after all the trauma he's been through with Shep's death, revival, cerberus ties, and other spoilers I won't get into.

JFC - three times in a row - I'm at work, I can't post pics. I'll edit my posts when I'm home to top them with Kaidan hawtness.
