 try to just confess and apologized for everything
always be nice to him

I'm guessing that means the date thing didn't mean very much? Will I have other chances to butter him up, as it were?

No, unfortunately, the date is pretty important. What's the last piece of romantic dialogue you had. Like, did he say anything before he came back onto the Normandy?

Oi! I'm just digging and digging those war assets out of every system for all I'm worth. It's getting harder and harder to remember which ones I've visited and which ones I've mined out and which ones I've uncovered things in that I couldn't scan before OMGREAPERS! made me leave. I'm glad that each system at least has a percentage to let you know how close to complete it is.

Does anyone else think that the splash screen of the ship getting catapulted off by the relay plays at a volume at least several notches louder than the rest of the game? It's like a frikkin' commercial and I'm getting pretty good at muting my comp when I go from system to system although I sometimes forget to turn the sound back on, and once I forgot that I was visiting a system I'd already been to and the OMGREAPERS! got me because I couldn't hear them.

So far the only major issue is the stupid Hanar quest which was bugged from the start.

And, did anyone else want to cry after the coup when they visited Thane? I also got a little sad when all my crewmates started wanting me to go hang with them on the Citidel. They're all saying goodbye.

At least everything is proceeding the way it should with Kaidan. I was so afraid that the coup would go badly.

Ign has a fantastic video tip on how to deal with the reapers & planet scanning. Also for pc players who's game is crashing on Eden Prime - hit escape (might have to hit it a couple of x's) immediately after the cutscene. Works for nearly everyone on the pc tech help forum.

He said I was a good friend and in one of the options, the paragon one no less, Shepard calls him a brother. I feel like I've ruined it now. But I'm not sure what I did wrong.

Returning from exile!

This game is getting me down So many of my pals are dying

Everything is progressing the way it should with Kaidan in the playthrough I think...Played the coup yesterday.

I went and talked to him after every mission and chose the paragon options, even got him the whiskey. And I told him I was sorry about the whole Garrus thing. I'm starting to think it was back at Mars when I messed it up. It was the only time I went renegade with him and it was because I didn't want to choose between him and Garrus just yet. Which means I might as well wait till my next PT to romance him.

Sure does. She only gives you the fish if she was responsible for feeding them in ME2.


I can't even seem to find her, though. Is she on the Citadel even if you didn't romance her? I prevented her turning into goo, I think she owes me at least a meeting.

No, he's not, I turned him down in the first convo on the ship since that was when I had finally decided on Kaidan. He took it well, but that means he's a dead end too and I've heard Vega is an untouchable so I'm doing this thang alone it seems. unless I can ninja mance Liara with that glitch I guess...

Well Crap...I avoided romancing her because I thought would interfer with the romance with Kaidan...

It's not really a romance, the person who it wrote said what happens during the fade to black is supposed to be up to you, so... Plus as long as his picture is still up I'm pretty sure the romance flag stays up.

Okay, I'm starting to have a panic attack here, LOL! I can't tell whether or not Kaidan and I are still romanced or not. I'm not actively pursuing anyone else(although I did tell Liara she'd been a good friend to me too when she showed up asking what I wanted her capsule to say about me), and I had three chats with Kaidan, two while he was still shirtless in the bed and then the one where he's about to leave and be a Spectre, so I'm curious if the date question comes after the coup? Or did I somehow screw it up. Grrr, I'll be so mad if I have to back track like four hours to fix it, LOL!

When you check in with Kelly, you have to ask he how she is (I think you do this through Investigation). Eventually, it'll lead to asking her to dinner in your quarters where you can ask her to take care of your fish while your off on missions.

The date comes after the coup, you'll get an email about it. If he's talking about love on the date, then you're fine.
